We recently bought a 10-needle embroidery machine but are reluctant to take on any substantial projects with expensive thread just yet. While we know that different threads will behave somewhat differently, we feel much more comfortable using this thread regardless of how durable it ends up being or how well the colors hold up in the long run. For our application, this thread pack is a great bargain.

Ive been using this machine embroidery thread for several years. The colors match brother thread color exactly. This set is a gift for my daughter who is getting a machine this year for Christmas. Great thread. Great price and top notch customer service. This set came with stabilizer that is every bit as good as what Ive bought in sewing shops for twice the price. Who doesnt love a bargain!

I dont know why they call this a starter kit, it has so much thread! The colors are beautiful, so many to choose from, and they sew out just fine. The thread goes a very long way, they will last quite a while.

So many colors! I am researching purchasing an embroidery machine and looking forward to utilizing all these colors in my creations. The kit has a Spool Color Chart with a photo of the thread color, color name, and number. On the reverse side is a beneficial conversion chart for Brother, Madeira Polyneon, and Madeira Rayon. The 10 x 10 yards tearaway stabilizer included in the kit will help me with the learning curve of using an embroidery machine. The seller even threw in a gift of several thread nets! Im set and ready to go!

Brothread thread and stabilizer are the only ones I use on my Brother NQ 1600e. The thread never shreads. The colors are beautiful.

Our household really needed this. We got quite a bit more crafty since pandemic lockdowns and this gave us what we needed without tediously searching out thread options. This set has a fantastic assortment of colors at a reasonable price, however we obtained this set in exchange for this review, to be transparent. The thread is a good quality and feels sturdier than some spools we have in another brand. We are happy with this choice.

This is an ideal starter set for anyone looking to take a stab at machine embroidery. The variety of colors among the 63 provides a nice range from the basic to the vibrant. I -really- appreciate the labels on the top of the spools with pre-cut holes... many labels are solid and either have to be pierced or removed and relocated. The thread itself didnt fray or break during use and the included optional nets kept the tension nice and consistent. My set came with 10 nets which fit the supplied spools perfectly and still fit a wider spool I already had. The stabilizer works fine, providing a little support for thinner materials and tore clean from the finished project. At 10 inches, its a little wider than most of the pre-cut sheets which would probably be nice for those with wider hoops. The box itself is sturdy enough to be used to store everything and shouldnt fall apart too easily. The included color chart is nice, though I lack any compatible brands listed so any color matching still has to be eyeballed. Overall, its a nice little set and the box makes for convenient storage.

Beautiful selection of colors for embroidery and no breakage at all! This thread is strong and runs smoothly through my embroidery machine. The stabilizer held the stitches very well and made my finished product look nice. It tore away cleanly and I will definitely re-order more stabilizer.
