AC/DC - LIVE : REMASTERED [Audio CD]

This single disc of live material is extracted from a double disc set recorded during the Razors Edge tour. In my humble opinion this is a much better buy than the larger set(especially for those new to AC/DC) because it eliminates the more obscure and pretentious tracks. Considering that this is the closest thing to a greatest hits record youre likely to find, its definitely worth the time and money if you want to see what these guys are really all about. If on the other hand youre already a fan, If You Want Blood is probably the better choice for a truly blistering live performance.

There was once a time when I did not accept Brian Johnson as the new Ac/Dc frontman. I grew up listening to Bon Scott, the fact that someone replaced him and that people actually liked this man displeased me. I couldnt believe they actually put this man on the same level as Bon. I just heard Back in Black and For Those About to Rock and I still wasnt used to this new vocalist. THen, one day I saw AC/DC Live(the 2 disc) and thought:maybe I should check it out, after all, it is AC/DC. It happened to be one of the greatest decisions I ever made. After hearing Johnson sing all of those Bon classics, I could tell he meant it from the very depth of his soul, unlike some frontmen (Sammy Hagar singing Dave songs, for example). I am proud to say that this man is the perfect man to replace the late Bon Scott and that if anybody else says different I will fight them for it. I definitely recommend this to anyone with even the slightest hint of interest in this album. I still say that AC/DCs first live album, If you Want Blood, is still better, but this one is right up there.

The good thing about live is the jamming; the music often goes outside of the box in an enjoyable way.

Es ist immer wieder phantastisch Songs der Monster-Rockband ACDC zu hören . Dieses umfangreiche Livealbum reißt einen schlichtweg vom Hocker.
