Good basic laptop. Fast and runs basic word processing programs, etc. al. Its been really dependable. I own three basic Acers and all of them have done well for the money.

I originally found this when it was around $350, now its over $400. The model I received has 4GB RAM soldered on the motherboard with the ability to go to 32GB, but obviously with the soldered RAM, the highest I could get it to was 20GB, for an additional $60.

This laptop is now running perfectly and set up to exactly to my taste. But getting there was not so easy. I detest WIN 11 and will stay away from it as long as I can. So I was disappointed when this laptop came with Windows 11 installed despite the fact the description said Windows 10 Home. And the Windows 11 installation was almost useless because the start menu did not work nor did run. Researching this on the internet I found out this was a fault in a beta version of Windows 11 that should never have been installed. Fortunately my old laptop was still mostly functional so I made a USB Windows 10 installation thumb drive and did a clean Windows 10 installation. One way to get rid of any pre-installed Acer crapware or, I guess, anything useful that Acer loaded, but I am not sure what that would be. This laptop is running very well now. I am ready to use it 8 seconds after hitting the power button which is nice. Getting it to this point was a bit more than I had bargained for. The speaker volume was feeble, like my previous Acer but I knew how to be able to turn the volume up by installing an equalizer utility.

I bought this laptop 2 months ago for office work and I am very satisfied with the performance. It came with 4 gb ram and I have not upgraded it. It works well the that ram for what I have used it for, battery last a long time so far very happy with it, recommended 100%.

Dont let other reviews lie. This is a great machine. It has a fantastic CPU and Video card.

My 15 year old son wanted a super fancy gaming PC to game with his friends 24/7 (insert eyeroll here lol) so I had him pick out something in my budget and this computer is amazing. Hes super happy and hes a teenage boy who hates the world hahaha great choice

I am very impressed with the quality of the screen. Skin tones are wonderful Color is clear and crisp. I am very happy with the light up keyboard. Speed is so much faster than my old computer. I upgraded to Windows 11 and like it so far. I do a lot of viewing video casts and it is very nice for that.

es una laptop para universitarios o de uso de hogar, tambien sirve para juegos casuales como league of leguends a buena resolucion y buenos fps, se siente muy premium y es muy bonita. la tengo desde hace dos dias, los 4gb de ram se quedan muy corto para el uso que le doy, ya ordene una ram de 8gb acer para hacer la ampliacion, actualizare mi review en unos dias luego de instalar la ram.
