Horrible laptop. I will never by acer again and Amazon is on probation because they should have better checks on what they promote. This lap has multiple issues volume, finger print reader, build. I live in the Caribbean and i bought this laptop for my daughter for online school. I had to get external speakers for her! Because of where I live it just so much of a hassle to ship this lap top back SO WILL HAVE TO ENDURE THIS THING. Some people say cheap thing not good and good thing not cheap.

I bought the equipment very recently, I uncapped it to fit an extra SATA SSD and I find that it does not have the slot to put the bus. What I can do? Ref: A515-44-R93G. Otherwise the equipment is excellent, fast, light, good design. Just for the detail of the SATA I give it 3 stars.

It is light in weight, thin & has a good camera. I purchased this notebook for my mother & it does exactly what she needs it to do. It was inexpensive & the OS (Windows 10S) makes it difficult to download any software unless it is done via the Microsoft Store. All she needs to do is web browse & use the Office Programs. I shared my Office package with her so she should be just fine.

I bought this because the program I wanted couldnt be installed on my old computer so the moment I received my new computer, it just did it on its own. I didnt have to do much more. I like my new computer.

Works ok out of the box but really needs more RAM to really perform. Only has 1 extra memory slot, not 2 like everyone said in the questions. Planned on adding a 2.5in SSD for storage with the included caddy but, the motherboard was lacking the clip for the ribbon cable. Why include the caddy? So, if you buy the Ryzen 3 4000 series version, plan on upgrading the tiny 120gb NVME SSD or, deal with lugging around an external hard drive for all your files.

I bought this laptop to replace another Acer 3 1/2 year-old laptop. I goofed as I didnt realize the hard drive in this laptop is not big enough for my needs. So I thought, no problem, as this laptop is supposed to be set up to take a second drive. It even comes with brackets to do that. I took the laptop to have a second drive installed and turns out the cable inside the laptop necessary to do that is missing. So now I am paying to have the hard drive replaced and the operating system reinstalled. I purchased this laptop because it could be upgraded. So much for that. Very disappointed and will not buy an Acer again.

es una laptop para universitarios o de uso de hogar, tambien sirve para juegos casuales como league of leguends a buena resolucion y buenos fps, se siente muy premium y es muy bonita. la tengo desde hace dos dias, los 4gb de ram se quedan muy corto para el uso que le doy, ya ordene una ram de 8gb acer para hacer la ampliacion, actualizare mi review en unos dias luego de instalar la ram.

I was hoping to use the ram and hard drive from my laptop that just died, I was able to install a stick of ram giving me a total of 20 gigs. I was pleased to see that a hard drive caddy was included in the box, along with hardware and wire for installing a hard drive, but once I had everything in place, where the hard drive is plugged into the motherboard, theres no plug, just solder marks where it should be. The 4300 model doesnt have this aparently, but the higher end ones do. I am upset because the page says that a second hard drive can be attached, this is a problem with amazon listing 3 similar products on the same page and just trusting the seller, but Im also upset with Acer, why in the world is all this extra hardware included in the box if I cant use it?! Im past the return date, and to be honest there isnt another pc in this price range that performs as well, so Ill drag an external drive with me. Over all I am pleased with the pc, screen is kinda dim, when on battery its even dimmer even when pumped to max brightness. Plays a lot of games pretty well, older games she handles like a champ, modern games turned down to medium or low yields playable 30-40 fps. I just wish I could install my hard-drive internally.

Needed something for my 7 year old to play her Roblox and Minecraft games as well as do some recording for uploading to YouTube. This one has done a great job.
