> 24 hourI would say this monitor falls under an entry level or value monitor for someone looking to move up to obtain FreeSync capabilities.

> 24 hourI have to admit I was a little skeptical at first due to some of the negative reviews, but this monitor is absolutely perfect! It connected with my laptop through the HDMI port and started right up. My laptop automatically detected it so having to configure it was no problem. No idea about the speakers because I have external speakers anyway. Picture quality is perfect for me because all I use it for is a secondary monitor while running code. I couldn’t attest to gaming capabilities because I have a different set up for that.

> 24 hourOn the website and even on the box, it says LED but the booklet inside and on monitor it says LCD. Extremely disappointed. Strictly not recommended.

> 24 hourInstructions that came with this Acer monitor says cables are optional besides the power cord. Not true. HDMI cable to connect to a USB port or micro-port is mandatory. The HDMI cable is for camera. Also have to use a VGA output cable as well to a port.

> 24 hourThe picture quality is pretty good so theres no complaint there considering the price was quite good. The issue is how long it takes the monitor to latch on a signal.

> 24 hourAll the positives are in the great looking display, intuitive OSD menu that is controlled by the rear joystick and vertical array of selection buttons (I didnt find it necessary to read the manual), up/down/tilt/swivel stand and solid base, zero-edge screen. I replaced an old Dell 24 UW FHD display and am using this Acer 28 as an extended monitor with my 27 iMac. I cant quite get the colors to match, no matter what color profile combo I use. I settled on using sRGB for both (suits my needs very well and colors are so close that most people wouldnt notice). The one and only downside I give this monitor is that it takes about 60 secs to sync the signal when I wake up my Mac. I dont know how it acts as a standalone monitor or as an extended dual display on Windows. Nonetheless, I would absolutely buy another and would recommend this monitor to everyone.
