EDIT: The USB-C to HDMI method was stronger on the new monitor but still not great. So I ended up keeping the old monitor (because it’s cheaper and has great resolution). Solution: Use USB-C to Display Port (DP). This monitor works well with DP. I haven’t figured out if the HDMI cord or HDMI port is broken, but other than this problem, I really like this monitor. So I’ve increased the rating from 2 to 4 stars.

The picture quality, etc of the monitor is fine.

Mainly got this to have a third screen at my desk. I like that I can rotate it to portrait mode since usually I have a file that I’m looking at in portrait mode and this allows me to use less desk space. But I can also rotate quickly to landscape mode if needed. I only use it for work so not sure if it’s good for gaming.

Excellent large 28 monitor, weak audio (my laptop speakers sound a lot better), and the stand is the best thing about this monitor. Not that the monitor itself isnt great (make sure to read others comments about hitting the tiny top button in addition to the power switch to turn it on), but the stand raises, lowers, tilts and even rotates. Sweet upgrade from my 22 Samsung, used for business and graphics. I havent tried the 4k yet.

This monitor is great when it works, but it is inconsistent. Sometime when I plug in HDMI the monitor immediately picks up the source, but other times it says no input and just doesnt register that something is connected. Weve had this issue with multiple different laptops and multiple different input cords.

Dead out of the box. No power. Junk.

I never had a monitor that had controls easier then this one. The back of the monitor has a knob that you can click and turn to select between different picture modes. Simple to use, I put mine on the graphics setting and then just turned down the brightness a bit since it was too much for my taste. Main reason I gotten this monitor was for the freesync when gaming and it works amazing.

Will never buy another Acer product ever again.

excellent picture quality! I was looking for a stand that change angles of viewing therefore this is the one I choose
