I was in the market for a monitor for a while, hunting for deals. My minimum specifications required were 21-24, 75hz, 1ms response, IPS panel. I eventually found two monitors (this and another) that shared technical specifications closely but one was a gaming monitor (sharp stand, etc) and the other was this sensible Acer. I ended up asking Reddit for a comparison, as the gaming monitor was up ~$50 more or so. Turns out that they were indeed the same panel, but you pay more for it to look like a gaming rig.

Went from a 1080p to a 4k monitor and it is sweet. This has a stand where you can raise and lower the monitor and it was surprisingly light and easy to set up. The built in speaker isnt very good, but I wasnt going to use that feature anyway. Love it love it love it.

Great monitor. The 28 4k provides an extremely high DPI that looks incredibly sharp in games, brilliant picture quality, and you can rotate it vertically if you want! But I took one star off because no matter how I try HDR looks awful. All grey and washed out.

Instructions that came with this Acer monitor says cables are optional besides the power cord. Not true. HDMI cable to connect to a USB port or micro-port is mandatory. The HDMI cable is for camera. Also have to use a VGA output cable as well to a port.

I bought a few of these. Theyre holding up well. The 4K quality is good.

I bought this monitor as second portrait view since I didnt want to spend on third party stand and it is working great. Stand is very flexible and feels sturdy. Good option for those who want IPS panel with built in vertical display. Freesync is a nice bonus too if you ever want to use it as primary.

the main downside of the monitor is that it comes with VGA cable and with a decade standard of HDMI

I bought one of these monitors awhile back and loved it so much I bought two more. You dont need a screwdriver or anything. SUPER easy assembly. Moves up, down, and tilts. Pretty sweet deal. Holla.
