Acer Chromebook 315, Intel Celeron N4000, 15.6 Full HD IPS Touch Display, 4GB LPDDR4, 32GB eMMC, Gigabit WiFi, Google Chrome, CB315-3HT-C296

Bought it for my wifes graduate degree classes. She didnt need a lot of bells and whistles and it works great.

Although I havent used it that much yet, this Chromebook seems quick and responsive. I liked the fact that the updates last through June 2026, considerably longer than many of the Chromebooks I looked at on Amazon. The touch screen works like it should. The fact that the screen is a good size is a plus too. Id buy this again.

I was really hoping this laptop would work. However, the first time I used it the screen went blank and would not work at all! See other reviews….Amazon returned this order, thankfully.

Its my 3rd Acer laptop and the other two were great. I wanted something new, but this guy is a disaster. The heat from under the keyboard is so hot I cant touch it. I dont use it for anything but basic stuff, like email, Instagram, and sometimes Ill watch a movie. The screen is lovely and Id keep it forever, but the heat is a killer.

It recognized my password, verified it was me, then loaded all my settings even my pictures Wow !

I don’t like that it tries to force you into apps, but otherwise it is very good particularly for the price.

Can’t get Facebook, messenger or kindle. The apps that do work are phone apps. It’s useless

I purchased this as a replacement for a Acer Chromebook 15 I used for 3 years. The old Acer Chromebook powers off now whenever you insert a micro sd card. Then it needs to stay off for like 6 hours before you can use it again without it turning off after 15 seconds. I was hesitant about purchasing another Acer however after looking at many other manufacturers offerings those displays were small and blurry by comparison. I did get three years use out of the old one without all of the update hassle and the old one had really great battery life.

For the price you can’t go wrong.

If you are looking for something for your child to get some school work done this laptop is perfect! It’s lightweight but thick enough that it isn’t going to break easily!
