Acer Chromebook 315, Intel Celeron N4000, 15.6 Full HD IPS Touch Display, 4GB LPDDR4, 32GB eMMC, Gigabit WiFi, Google Chrome, CB315-3HT-C296

We’ve been using this for a solid 3 weeks for school related work (docs, school apps, basic web use). It is very glitchy. It shuts down apps randomly while in use. The screen freezes. There are occasionally blank gray spaces on the screen. Overall, we are disappointed.

Not this chromebook but chrome OS which dont have Open Office come on

This laptop is advertised as 1920x1080 touchscreen. What I got was 1366 x 768 and not a touchscreen.

The computer arrived damaged and I am sending it back.

I’m not sure why people had issues with the touch screen. It’s working great for us! Was super easy to connect to my daughter’s school Google account and connect to Wi-Fi. Ten minutes max. She’s already been playing games on the apps for school. Super excited to score this on a lightning deal!

This is my second Chromebook. My last one was a 13 Asus in 2015. It was lightweight and kind of flimsy, but it worked. The screen resolution was not great and the speaker volume was bad. It also slowed down considerably over the years.

Its my 3rd Acer laptop and the other two were great. I wanted something new, but this guy is a disaster. The heat from under the keyboard is so hot I cant touch it. I dont use it for anything but basic stuff, like email, Instagram, and sometimes Ill watch a movie. The screen is lovely and Id keep it forever, but the heat is a killer.

This is the perfect Chromebook for my children. Great for school and play. Very pleased with this purchase.
