Acer Chromebook C720 New 11.6-Inch WXGA HD LED LCD Replacement Screen 30PIN Matte Fits: C720-2848, C720-2103, C720-2420, C720-2800, C720-2802, C720-2844

I watched a YouTube video and followed along. It took 15-20 mins. The worse part for me was getting the 4 small screws back in that hold the screen. Unsnapping the screen frame was easier than I expected and only required a small flat head screw driver around one of the seams to get a grasp on it. Once the frame was off I took the time to clean it up, because my kid got something gooey around the hinges. She is also the reason I needed to replace the screen. I worked on it when she went to bed at night, so shell be surprised the next time she turns it on.

I am using this display to replace broken screens in our schools CTL brand NL6 and J4 chromebooks. I have been very happy so far with the quality of the displays and in the packaging used to ship them.

Its properly described and easy to install. If youre not sure, just run over to youtube and check out some videos. The entire repair consists of popping off the plastic bezel around the screen, removing four screws, some tape and a pin connector, then setting the pin and re-attaching the tape to the new screen. Replacing the screws and popping the bezel back on. Fin. So yeah, I did that. And the chromebooks looks beautiful again.

I was pleased with how easy it was to change out the screen on my Acer C720 laptop. I am a little disappointed that I have to keep my laptop plugged-in in order to use it. If anyone is reading this review and has some input for something I may have done wrong during installation.

My Screen broke and I purchased this as a replacement. Installation was a bit more difficult than expected, but one on, it worked beautifully! Saved me from having to purchase a new chromebook!!

Screen looks great

My son got his Chromebook stuck in the couch and when he freed it, the screen was damaged with large spots in several places. This is a perfect replacement screen for the Acer C720 Chromebook and was packaged properly. It is very easy to replace and it is a cheap alternative to replacing the entire Chromebook. It took about 15 minutes to replace due to the very stubborn bezel that didnt want to release easily. The screen had no blemishes and looks exactly like the original screen (without the damage). My son is once again a happy camper with his beloved Chromebook.

This replacement is just passable. It does work on my C720, however there is a dead pixel on arrival. Additionally the metal mounting tabs were bent so they are not fully flush to the frame, but that does not seem to be a big issue. Very disappointed with the dead pixel, though.

Have bought this twice now. Very easy to install. Cheaper than having to buy a new Chromebook !

Bought this for my C720-2848 Chromebook after my 11 year old cracked the screen and it works perfectly! (This model is not listed in the description, not sure if the 22848 model is a typo or not) There is a youtube video that shows you how to replace the screen, I was able to do it in 10 minutes, and Im not a computer guy or Mr. fix-it. Dont be afraid to fix it yourself!! Screen shipped protected with bubble wrap, no dead pixels, even after I saw the UPS guy kick the package off his truck when he pulled up. This was a lifesaver!
