This was probably the easiest screen replacement Ive ever done and at thirty bucks it would be silly not to do yourself-- all you need is a screwdriver. My review is 2 weeks after buying replacement & I must say I’m impressed. It was so EASY to put on MY ACER CHROME BOOK….be careful when unscrewing …you will have to find a screw driver on your own it does not come with one.

Youtube have a video for how to replace it. Very easy to follow. Get it replaced within 15 minutes. Mine is Acer Chromebook C720-2420. Perfect match. Like it. My problem is the old screen is very very dim, almost completely dark screen. I used HDMI to link my chrombook C720 to one of my computer monitor, and it works, so I know that my C720 works, just the screen back light problem. I purchased this, and it perfectly match. Fix it! :)

Its a perfectly fine screen replacement for my Chromebook, the model wasnt quite right so I had some difficulty getting the screen in place but thats largely a mistake on my part. Be sure that youre getting the right screen down to the most minute detail before you buy it. Im docking a star because upon use I immediately found a dead pixel that is often really distracting despite being so small.

Have bought this twice now. Very easy to install. Cheaper than having to buy a new Chromebook !

I was so bummed when my old screen cracked. Luckily the replacement is a snap: 1. Use a butter knife of spudger to take the bezel off the broken screen. The hinges are a little tricky, so wiggle the monitor back and forth as you pull up. 2. Unscrew the 6 screws holding in the old screen and lay the screen face down on the keyboard. 3. Look for the piece of extra sticky tape holding down the connector. Peel the tape up and pull the connector out. 4. Take the old monitor out and set the new one face down in its place. 5. Reconnect the connector (it wont make a sound, but you will hear it click) 6. Screw in the screws and snap the bezel back in place. And that is it! Quality wise, I feel like this screen is brighter with deeper color than the stock monitor. For $35 this is a great buy.
