Owned the device for 7 days now. Only used it once. On the 3rd day, I finally got a chance to use it. After about 2.5hours of working with the device, I got a blue screen with error: PAGE FAULT_IN NONPAGED AREA. I dont have any design programs on it yet. Only Office 365. When I picked up the device, it was extremely hot. I had the device sitting on my end table (completely flat surface). Ive had laptops before that did not run hot from sitting on a table, even after several hours of working. I dont understand this. After turning it off and letting it sit for about 30 minutes or so and turning it back on, it seemed to be fine. I havent even gotten the chance to work in Adobe yet. This is horrible. Im gonna do a little research before returning it, but Im sure I probably will.

First of all I must say I love this little machine. Im an artist who was looking for an entryway into digital art, and after a lot of research I decided this was the best fit for me. The laptop is compact and good for those with limited space, its a great alternative for people not wanting to buy a huge PC setup just to learn digital art like I was. Its also a very powerful little machine that rivals lots of other computers Ive seen.

I bought this laptop with high hopes from the reviews. I work in digital design and wanted to buy outside of apple. This brand new laptop has so many issues. The fingerprint scanner doesnt work, the video card is defective. My laptop shuts down several times a day. This is extremely inconvenient for my work and makes simple tasks long and difficult. I cant even connect to an external monitor for longer than fifteen minutes. Upon contacting the seller I was informed that although I have a warranty, I could not get a refund or new laptop. I would have to wait at least 20 days for them to try and repair the laptop. They were unfriendly and unwilling to work with me although I explained I need a laptop for my livelihood. I would not recommend buying this. Please look elsewhere for your design needs.

Nice laptop, but it is not cheaper.

I bought this as a replacement for a budget Acer laptop, specifically needing more processing power and ram but what drew me in was the capability for inputting cell values into spreadsheets on the go.

Great for drawing. Has a lot of fans underneath. When I update it, I have it laying on the screen side because it seems like it needs it. Battery life suffers for what I use it for.

Look, this is a really cool concept for a laptop. A laptop for creators and artists to be able to take their work on the go, that’s what this laptop advertises itself as. It presents itself as a laptop, but with the desktop power to be able to handle heavier programs. The screen moves and comes out for whatever it is you need, but the reality is, the laptop is too compact to truly be able to handle my programs. Simply running things like Adobe Illustrator or small games and the laptop’s fans are louder than the actual fan in my room. I also quickly ran into audio issues, and the laptop itself has stopped playing sound out of the speakers entirely. I’ve only had the laptop for a day. Acer has produced many good laptops that can handle resource-heavy programs/games, and their Concept D models haven’t all been bad, but I believe this one just seems to be a simple laptop with a few more buffed specs. If you’re looking for a sleek compact design for good day to day laptop, this is a good choice. But as for anything much more than that, you’d probably be better off with an actual heavy duty gaming laptop.
