> 3 dayThis monitor is one that I was completely unsure as to whether I would love it or to hate it. I felt like I would likely either think it was a pain to work with or I would decide to never go back to a different monitor setup again. It started as me just wanting to have this monitor because I can use it as 2 monitors in one (literally with the Acer widget as it provides a lot of options to divide the real estate on the desktop) and if I did not have to do some video conference calls that I have to share my screen with others, I would just have this one. Since I do have to share things almost daily, I did decide to use another monitor on the side for explicitly just sharing. Nonetheless, this has done such a good job in being 2 monitors in one, I hardly ever use a second one. The Acer widget enables me to even divide this into 3 if I want/need and this is such a large monitor that I can accomplish so much without having to worry about configuring things as much and my absolute favorite pro is that I can open up a spreadsheet that is almost comically wide and I can see most of it on the screen at once. I dont have to scroll to the right and try to remember what figure was listed all the way on the left, or vice versa.

> 3 dayI bought this monitor on sale because I was in the market for a new ultra-wide and this thing had all the right specs, WQHD, 144hz freesync, HDR capable, etc. Unfortunately, the first monitor I received has a cluster of dead pixels as shown in the photo, so I contacted Amazon who cross-shipped me a replacement. I just received it, unboxed it and plugged it in to find that it has not 1 but 3 clusters of dead pixels as well as several single pixels dead across the display. I didnt expect much from Acers QC department, but I am pretty disappointed regardless and will end up spending more money on something else which is unfortunate. Also, the curve on this monitor does not make up for the lack of viewing angles of a VA display as the edges definitely look like youre viewing them from the side. My take away from this is avoid Acer and look for an IPS panel with similar specs if you can afford it.

> 3 dayVery nice monitor. The only issue is that it had a small broken piece as part of the stand. A very minor issue. No dead pixels and very good quality overall.

Greater than one weekI bought this monitor about a month ago and have had no issues so far (I will update this post if anything changes). No dead pixels, no damage on arrival and it has been great overall! I am more than just satisfied with this monitor, its huge and can display some amazing scenes in 1440p. If youre buying this monitor with a speaker in mind, dont. Just buy an external one. The speaker on this isnt great but I have no Idea why you wouldnt buy this monitor due to this fact that there is an amazing external speaker after market.

26-11-2024The outlook of this monitor is really good, the RGB lighting effects on the back looks good too! But for whatever reason when I connect it to my 2020 MacBook air with HDMI I always see the monitor flickering and was not able to fix it! So I ended up with returning. Maybe you wont see this issue if you use it with Display Port. The only thing this monitor is lacking of a USB C port I would say.

> 3 dayNote: This monitor is best paired with an AMD card with respect to Freesync, though current Nvidia cards at the 10 series or higher now can use Freesync through GSync compatible though Nvidia does not maintain this standard well and there is aliasing (written with version 456.55 Sept 28 2020 in mind). Radeon 20.1.4 fully takes advantage of the Freesync and actually performs better on this monitor than Nvidia. The Predator line is recommended for those who have Nvidia cards with GSync ability.
