I am a 14 year old who just worked all summer to buy a laptop. I ordered this seeing all good reviews and I am very disappointed. I unboxed it, plugged it in, and waited. Nothing. I tried numerous different things like plugging it into different outlets and using a different charger. Nope, nothing worked. I am sending it back in hopes of getting it fixed or replaced.

I was initially pleased with this purchase, however, after 9 months the hard drive died. It was under warranty and I had to go through hoops to send it away and get it fixed. Came back totally wiped, which I expected, but not that I would need to re purchase Microsoft office suite. Even when logging in with my Microsoft ID. Doing myself a favor, switching to apple.

This laptop is a great value for the price . Its super reliable but I recommend you get a laptop cooling pad with this because it can get hot and affect performance. If your a simple minded person you should get this the graphics are great and even better than consoles depending on the game. It only has 256 GB so you should get a external hardrive with this to hold more games,any would work for steam ,origin, battle.net . Lastly overall is a simple good performance pc thats more powerful than a ps4 pro or close to it because of its 1650gtx

I STRONGLY suggest you shop eslewhere for a new laptop. Unless you like recieving a defective device in need of repairs right out of the box, and have two weeks to waste waiting for them to fix your brand new device. The computer is not working, Ive had it for a day now and it cant connect to the internet, at all. Im a fairly tech savvy millennial and after spending 2 hours on the phone with Acers tech support I was told they cannot fix the issue, and to send it in for repairs. Sending it in will take 15-20 days. This is a brand new laptop. I cannot afford to be without a computer for over TWO weeks. This is the worst review Ive ever had to give.

I am really pleased with this purchase! The i5-9300H & NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 in conjunction with NVMe SSD makes for a very fast boot and snappy overall performance. I was VERY pleased to see that this contains a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) network card in addition to a traditional gigabit wired Ethernet port. The backlit keyboard is a very nice feature, particularly when using this in low-light situations such as on an airplane. For being a thin and light laptop, I was pleasantly surprised to see all the ports on it (USB 3.1 Type-C, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, HDMI 2.0, RJ45, etc.).

Im no computer expert but i asked my brother for recommendations for a great computer for my livestream playing music. So far this has been the best computer i have ever owned. Lots of speed and it was easy to set up. Plenty of hook ups and great customer service. Im glad i got it.

I got the nitro 5 with the 9th gen i5 and gtx 1650 in April, at about 3 months I got a code 43 on the gpu tried everything, ended up sending to Acer, they sent it back, said it was fixed but it wasnt. I just sent it back again so Ill update as to the outcome, its only been 5 months so its not looking good for Acer.

After about a year of vary limited use. Wont charge or power on. Its a common issue Ive found with this model.

The following ram works perfectly to upgrade from 8 to 16GB:
