At first I was really happy to get a “nice” laptop that I could play games and do work on it. But I want to let other people know that it’s not that could consider getting something else.

Would prefer had more space to download more games, but its a pretty good laptop regardless, the fans inside cool it down fast

I bought this to play Baldurs Gate III, since my old laptop was outdated. I didnt want to spend too much, but was looking for a good gaming laptop. This definitely fit the bill. It played the game with zero lag will all the video settings on high. The graphics and speed are amazing.

I have been using this laptop for about over a month by now and its been great! The battery life lets me do work for long periods of time without even having to charge it, but Id recommend keeping it plugged in so that it operates at the highest functionality. The keyboard is nicely spaced out letting you type easily, however the mouse is slightly on the left side of the laptop base so if youre left-handed it might cause you some trouble.

Im pleasantly surprised with the Acer Nitro 5, specially after I looked under the hood. Im uploading some pictures so you guys can see whats Im talking about. However, before opening the laptop, I tried it. And my first impression is that its really fast loading. Even before I optimize it by removing those apps I dont need, or use. And the backlit keyboard is responsive and great to work in the semidarkness.

Although the laptop came with a damaged screen (most likely a delivery accident), we ended up returning this one and buying the same exact model from Best Buy except with a bigger screen. The laptop was for my girlfriend who recently started gaming and she loves it! I tried it out myself and you can get some amazing graphics on high quality and still end up with 120+ FPS.

I got one laptop and the screen went black after one day. Talked with acer and Amazon support and had to return it. Waited 5 days vs. the original 2 for the initial laptop. New laptop just arrived and the keyboard is supposed to glow red.. the broken screen one did. This one doesnt glow and the keyboard is not responsive enough you really have to push down the keys it feels like a knockoff. For a laptop thats almost 1000 dollars you would think the screen or keyboard would work. Not happy at all. Will be getting a refund on the replacement now.

Worked fine for 83 days. Now, it wont boot. Getting no bootable device error. Go into the boot menu no device appears. shows an empty screen. Acer site wont even recognize SN or SNID. Waiting on Acer to respond. Less than 90 days old and a hassle already.

This is a great laptop, especially for the price. The backlit keyboard is a nice function, and it can be set to stay lit, just fire up NitroSense and click the gear icon in top right corner for settings.
