Greater than one weekTLDR this was a great value. On a monitor this size I feel as though the curve is more of a gimmick than an added feature but I have to admit that it does add an aesthetic quality that may be just what you need for your next build. The picture quality, resolution, and refresh rate are as advertised but Acer isnt known for its defective products.

> 3 dayas with all monitors. adjust your settings. make sure you run nividia control panel to apply settings correctly and your windows settings to get your 144. VA panel is on this model for anyone trying to avoid the TN panel. I use a 27 ips 60hz panel beside this one and apart from missing out on some color gambit range, i am pretty impressed with the quality for the price.

> 3 dayIm a software architect and my needs for ergonomic equipment, great displays, and capable PCs (MacBookPro) are significant. I had an Asus IPS 1440p previously which was a great monitor. But I stopped into a Staples store and saw a curved monitor (1500R) and was hooked. I cant describe the transformation that you undergo in how you interact with the display. Yes, the experience is more immersive. I was looking at 1000R or 1500R and felt that 1500R, like this monitor, was a good balance for non-gaming situations. It took about 3-4 days to get used to. And interestingly it felt better to use for personal browsing before I grokked the benefits for technical work. Yes, a VA (vertically aligned) panel is just slightly not as vibrant or oomph factor as IPS. But you can adjust the monitor very nicely and get very close to IPS. This monitor is a great value and there is not much to be concerned about. Id say the only thing that may through you is the base legs. All curved monitors have legs that come out and forward to balance monitor so it does not fall forward. So this may bring some rearrangements for you on your desktop. You will need an area of 16 wide, 9 deep, and 4-6 height to bring the monitor up to a very usable eye level, assuming a standard desk height. I got mine at $159.99 in early June 2023 and it has reenergized my work and productivity. Recommended.

12-04-2025I was skeptic of Acer, no more, this monitor is hands down the best looking picture I have had in a pc monitor, granted it is not 4k but I dont view 4k content in it, you wont be dissapointed, the power button is a bit weird in where it is at (back of monitor) but other than that excellent value, I might get another one

> 3 dayThis performs far better than I thought it would at this price. Perfect size for me, slight curve adds depth to high graphic video games. Has no problem running No Mans Sky on Ultra graphics mode. No slowness or refresh rate slowing. The only way you are getting a better performing monitor than this is by increasing the price 5-10 times.
