> 3 dayFirst one did have dead pixel, used it for a week while waiting on replacement no other issues sound worked fine. Amazon replaced it new one had no sound great picture great for gaming easy to see. MAKE SURE YOU BUY a 1.4 DP cable to use this properly I had HDCP issues with the one it came with not sure why. Sound from monitor not needed so probably going to let it slide for price point was worth trouble.

> 3 dayFor the price this is a solid monitor. I am just using it for my PS4 till I switch to desktop and it has been good so far. The only thing I have to say negative about it. Is that is does seem a little washed out on the color. But after messing with the settings a bit. I found something I liked with it. Otherwise, decent monitor for the price.

> 3 dayalthough the response time is a little slower than your average 144hz monitor the picture quality is perfect and i didnt even need to calibrate the color scale or gamma when i plugged it in, it even had 144hz auto selected, this might not happen for everybody but my experience with this monitor has been nothing but good. the only reason i didnt give all of the features 5 stars is the gtg response time, even though it is barely noticeable. i feel the only reason i noticed it was because two nights before i got this one i was on 144hz 1ms gtg, all around, this monitor is a great choice

Greater than one weekReally liking this monitor, just hard to get used to so big of a screen for a monitor, 27. Is great if I want to watch a movie. I dont do gaming, so no rating on that.

> 3 dayFirst off, this monitor has no speakers - and it never claims to but it has an audio output jack so you can plug in headphones or speakers. This is an AWESOME gaming monitor! I went from an ASUS 24 75Hz 2ms monitor that was 10 years old to this 144Hz 3ms monitor and the difference is amazing! The 144Hz makes gaming buttery smooth and insane! Dont worry about the response time, there are no ghosting or tearing problems here! Great monitor and oh the CURVE is amazing for gaming but for Windows it takes a day or 2 to get used to it but after that you dont notice. During game play the curve is amazing, you see so much more and it helps your eyes see things better on the sides! NO dead pixels on arrival! The stand is NOT flimsy or poorly built, it is just fine! This monitor does tilt and it tilts quite a bit. Blue light filter is nice at night and does help your eyes especially with a white background such as internet browsing. The joystick on the back of the monitor does take some getting used to bu then its fine. Display Port, HDMI, DVI input ports. Comes with Display Port cable!!

> 3 dayEDIT 1: Speakers do not work with mine. I dont personally care, I hate Acers monitor speakers, but that will bother other people Im positive. This wouldve been a 4-star monitor otherwise. Edit 2: When Freesync is enabled, flickering occasionally occurs. Black, vertical lines move up/down the screen super flash periodically. Started occuring about a month in. Pros: + Curved design isnt overwhelming. + Good colors (after optimization) + 144hz is astounding compared to my previous 60hz and 75hz monitors. + Decent physical size + Extremely sleek design Cons: - Horrible color and lighting out of the box. Requires a lot of fine-tuning, but can look great. (Some setup help after cons) - Stand is subpar. Screen wobbles consistently while typing. - Inputs are in an odd place on the back of the monitor. Cords stick outwards instead of downwards like most other monitors. - No place for cable management on the stand. Extras: In order to get the best out of this monitor, you have to turn off the following settings: - Black Boost (In Picture) - Super Sharpness (In Picture) - Over Drive (in Gaming) The rest is up to your discretion. I will be updating this review if, like others, have issues with dead pixels, screen flickering, etc. So far, Ive not experienced either.

Doesnt matter
> 3 dayNot sure if it is a trait of curved monitors, or this particular one... But this thing has a god awful picture sitting next to any other 1080p monitor I have in the house. I will probably give this one away. The physical controls / buttons on the monitor are horrible. Its some weird joystick thing on the back side of the monitor. I only sometimes reach for it for volume, but if you had to navigate the menus or input with this monitors buttons it would be a huge pain. The speaker is facing out the back side of this monitor. This makes no sense and practically makes builtin audio either ear-piercingly loud or ultra quiet / muffled. I created a shroud using a sheet of plastic that hangs over the speakers housing which reflects some sound back to me, its a bit better, but still pretty bad. There is an audio out AUX port which is a probably the best feature of this display. The power supply and plug is not only unique to this monitor, but comes paired with a massive inline power brick that I had to rig up on the back side of my desk since its weight otherwise dangles in midair and pulls on the AC plug connected to the monitor. You can not use a normal cable that 90% of monitors and PC power supplies use. Another terrible choice in design. Display ports are limited. One HDMI, VGA and DVI. So, if you have Display Port cables youll have to get HDMI-to-DP if you need DP on one end. Didnt think this would be a problem when buying, but its been a huge pain. I could do without VGA or DVI in place of a DP. You can probably get VGA and DVI monitors for free or dirt cheap. Not sure why these are still being put on monitors. Adapters exist to step down, stepping up from an old port to a newer port defeats the purpose. You lose all the quality. At least if you adapt to VGA / DVI, you can remove the adapter and gain your quality back. In the long run, an HDMI switch and a DP-to-HDMI cable saved this monitors life in my house. Also, the audio out AUX port helped to fix the terrible builtin speakers (poor quality is mostly due to orientation). But you might need a mile long AUX cable. (Which for whatever reason are a fraction of the price if you buy an AUX extension, instead of an actual dual-sided AUX cable. Buy a shorter AUX cable, plug it into a multi-foot long extension AUX cable. You will save money!)

13-06-2025Bought this to enhance my work-at-home setup, replacing a 24 flat Acer that will get repurposed in another room. PROS: * Monitor was packaged well and started up with no dead pixels. * Setup was super easy -- one screw connects the base to the monitor bracket, and the bracket snaps into the back of the monitor. * Overall, picture quality is good for the price. * At 3W, speakers put out considerably more volume than other monitors (the Acer it replaces had 2W speakers with very weak sound). * Comes with a handy set of cables (except DVI...not even an adapter?). * White/chrome style looks clean and modern sitting on our kitchen desk. * Did I mention its curved?? CONS: * Packaging leaves no confusion as to whats inside -- fortunately I was able to claim it off the front porch before anyone passing by got greedy. * Ports are kind of tucked up and in, which make connection kind of tricky. * Comes with a single rocker/push button for control that is easy to turn on, but has to be held 12 forevers before it turns off. * Brightness seems just a touch uneven across the width of the screen. Overall, Im happy with the purchase and would recommend.
