It was an amazing deal at ~$250 on Prime Day.

Great for people who like rich colors. The pixel response time on this monitor is what made me return it after just a week. The description claims 4ms response with the VRB mode enabled but I know for sure that it wasn’t that fast because of the evident screen smear and ghosting. I was going to use this monitor as a replacement for a 144hz 1080p TN panel also from acer but ended up returning this one to amazon and picking up a comparable dell TN panel.

I havent found a flaw. Works perfectly. 144 hz and sync with an old r390x. Time for a new card now. Lol

-Factory set at 170hz (wonderful surprise) -IPS panel with wonderful and accurate color -HDR option available (not important to me, but nice that its there) -Huge 27 monitor w/native 1440p resolution makes for a stunning photo with sharp images and text -Great viewing angles -Can get very bright. I have it set at 90% brightness(360 nits I believe?) and its more than acceptable to me. At both well lit daytime or middle of the night Only downside is the stand. It can wobble if you shake your legs during some downtime or if you have restless legs. But this can be remedied with the monitors being VESA mounted. 5/5 stars, planning on buying a third one when a 3080 inevitably becomes available.

Im absolutely amazed that i didnt get this monitor sooner. I made the mistake of buying a 4k BenQ 60hz with a rtx2080. While the picture/gaming was nice, the gamma and refresh rate just wasnt cutting it (that, and it wasnt an IPS screen). The options available to you with this LG monitor enables me to get the best picture possible. Though, out of the box, the picture is pretty dang amazing. Would high suggest to anybody that is looking for a 2k 144hz IPS monitor.

This monitor is overall a fantastic gaming monitor for the price and the problems i have might only be specific to my monitor. Out of the box the picture is great but ghosting was pretty bad, i fixed this by turning overdrive to extreme. Normally this would cause the picture to be very distorted but on mine it didnt. In fact it fixed the ghosting ( There is still a bit but its an IPS panel so normal). Extreme overdrive does distort text when scrolling fast through a webpage but its not enough for me to even care normal scrolling speed it looks fine.

So far so good, using this on console. The stand it comes with is horrid. The price is almost twice the price here on Amazon, you should definitely look else where for a cheaper price.

This took some time to calibrate, but once I did it’s a great monitor for photo editing and gaming.
