The value of this laptop cant be understated. There are no real weaknesses here. The only notable problems people may have with it are the fan noise while gaming and the lack of silent fan operation when not gaming. You wont notice the idle whirl of fans unless you are in a completely silent room with no music or headphones in play.

It showed up fast...in 3 days. So far I love it. Its very fast and good build quality. I wish the speakers were louder and the battery is okay but not great. Im real happy overall though. A good value for such a good build. The wifi and bluetooth is strong and has great range. I love how tough it feels. Its sturdy and metal Not slim and fragile plastic like most laptops these days. Make sure you get all your windows updates when you get it or you may have some issues. The keyboard lighting is great and I like the bright blue hawk emblem on the back of the laptop. Startup is super fast...like 10 seconds from pushing power button its ready to go.

I am writing this amendment to my review on my older laptop, which the Predator was supposed to replace. Why is this? Well, lets follow the timeline.

This laptop can do everything. Its only only for gaming. I use it a lot for video editing. though I upgraded the RAM to 16mb. This laptop is a beast. I LOVE it. If you are looking for a great laptop, look no further.... go for Acer Predator Helios 300. Thank you....

I read a bunch of solid reviews on this laptop, and watched many YouTube videos on it as well. I was very excited upon receiving this laptop. Obviously this is only my opinion, and Im sure this is a great laptop. But my experience of it was horrible. Keep in mind I did not mistreat it at all, and this all happened on the day I received it.

This was for my Grandson, he LOVES it! Great gaming laptop!
