When it works its a pretty good gaming laptop, has a good battery life, runs games well and has beautiful picture. Problem is after a year its practically useless. I bought it in August of last year and now 1 week after the 1 year warranty expired the screen goes black and displays nothing, so if you do buy it at least be sure to get the extended warranty because it will stop functioning. Honestly itd be a much better option to sacrifice some of the performance for durability because 1 year of use is pretty pathetic.

I received the laptop a couple weeks ago, and so far its great! Im relatively familiar with computers but by no means a whiz, and Im a moderate to heavy gamer.

Ive had this for a couple months now and love it! Picture is amazing, I can run most games at lightning fast fps on high or max settings. League of Legends, Tabletop Simulator, Subnautica, Civilization, all look amazing.

I bought it because I wanted a very fast laptop for work and everyday activities... that I could take on vacations and play games if I wanted. It handles Sea of Thieves on Mythical graphics no problem. Love the laptop, worth the money...

It is really great for gaming and the screen display is just unreal! My cpu never gets over 85c and with the turbo mode on it stays around 65c. It runs games like squad, escape from tarkov, insurgency sandstorm very well

This Acer laptop worked great for about a year of light use. Sometimes I would only use it to play some games once per week. Right after my one year warranty expired, the screen just stopped working. It stays black even when the laptop powers on. I called Acer about this issue and they wanted me to pay to ship it to them for repairs because the warranty expired. A $1,200 laptop should last longer than a year. Im very disappointed.

I might not be much of a gamer, but this is good for practical necessities. Otherwise, the games run much smoothly and I look forward to see progress I can make with this as a content creator, and comedian.

500GB hd inadequate. Needed turbo mode to do VR, its just enough, but not enough to play games. Over priced at the time I bought it for what its made of. Ot enough memory, storage or processing. Its an easy pass, but heck its been almost 2 years,, it wasnt enough then, so why make the review? Moores law..should have been good enough..bottom line its just Amazons skewed ratings
