I got this Acer Predator Helios 300 Gaming Laptop, Intel i7-10750H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB, 15.6... laptop for my husband, and he LOVES it. The two things I can personally comment on and confirm is that the drivers -do- need to be updated out of the box. He had issues trying to use the laptop out of the box until he did that update and others. The other thing I feel I need to mention is, at the time of purchase Nov. 10, 2019 (arrived on the 13th) the laptop did -not- come with a touchscreen. Lastly, the laptop does get pretty warm. However he has a wood laptop board that he rests the new Acer on, which has large vent holes in it. He hasnt had any issues with it overheating or overactive fan/s. Or anything else wrong for that matter. We are both very pleased with this Acer laptop. When hes not paying games, we watch Netflix and Amazon movies on it. I can watch even when the screen is at an angle. Acer has come a long way since 2007. That old laptop became a paperweight in less than a year, so I had my concerns. This Acer laptop is nothing like that! Im so glad I chose this laptop for the husband. And he loves his new Acer!

This is one of the best laptops I have used in a while!! My first laptop was an Acer so I knew about these laptops already. The processing on this laptop is very fast, which I expected for a gaming laptop. The keyboard is very responsive which mean I dont have to hit the keys very hard when typing. The display is crazy good and my eyes dont feel the strain after using it for extended periods. The only downfall is the battery life. With this being a gaming laptop, I expected the battery life to be longer, especially when Im not playing games and just surfing the web. However, Im lucky if I get 2 hours of battery life when playing games or even just using the laptop for normal activities. Im planning to look for Acer replacement batteries that may have longer battery life. Otherwise, this is the perfect laptop!!

It plays all the major titles even tomb raider on ultra settings giving an example I have an Alienware or 17 and it outperforms that about a lot even though my Alienware is an older computer the build quality on the Helios 300 is a lot better also the one I have is an RTX 2060

Great laptop

First gaming laptop I have ever owned and the difference is extremely obvious. The helios 300 feels extremely premium and sturdy with the metal chassis and lid, combined with a very colorful and vibrant screen and enjoyable typing experience. I havent done any gaming with it as yet but so far it runs very quiet during regular use. After searching up gaming laptops for months I settled on the helios 300 as nothing else offers this much performance and quality of a build at this price point. Ill update this review in the future if I have any issues but so far I am super happy with my purchase.

Streams warzone with mid level settings well. Kinda wish I had bought a full on gaming rig but this serves many purposes. Loads applications and websites noticably faster than other laptops Ive had. Unfortunately battery performance suffers but this was understood when I bought it.

When I received it the screen had a nick in it and it was discolored.. I went out and had the screen replaced. Then it crashed on me causing me to have to reboot a new operating system. I loaded what I could on it.. it does okay with games. Super laggy with some gameplay. One of the fans recently stopped working so I bought another and replaced it.. I feel like Ive paid for 2 at this point! Lol

Es mi primer gaming laptop y la verdad esta de lo mejor!!! Se tardo como un mes en llegar al lugar en donde vivo pero valió totalmente la pena esperar tanto. Me encanta el color que se miran en las teclas y la resolución de la pantalla. Se carga super rápido. Las gráficas RTX 2060 están de lo mejor. Totalmente recomendado el producto. Ninguna falla por el momento, espero siga así mucho tiempo.

If youve owned a previous model of the Predator Helios, you will be happy to know that the charging port has moved to the back of the computer! This is a wonderful modification thats sure to please a lot of Acer fans.
