I purchased a 2019 version and received a 2018 version.

We got this on Black Friday and I was hesitant because I’ve not had much luck with Acer products in the past. And I disliked the advertised screen resolution but boy was I wrong. The type of display it is is crisp, clear and bright and seems like a much higher resolution than it actually is. This allows me to play anything maxed out. I’m currently playing Hitman 2 on max settings, as well as far cry 5. So far we haven’t had a lick of problems with ours after 3 months of constant use. Very pleased with my purchase. This blows the Dell gaming laptop I previously owned out of the water (and it was just as much).

Not much hard drive space but was able to add on.

It only has one video output. It is impossible to have two external monitors, not even with usb adapters.

Laptop looks great! Runs amazing! So far so good! Bought a 1TB SSD to put in it as well! Wasnt hard to install at all! Recorded all of it and will be up loading it to my YouTube. TacticalFlakes

Got this in the mail today. Shipped in a very secure box and was in prestine condition. Powered up and runs awesome! I immediately installed software for my oculus rift and ran it that night in a few games. The fans reved up and kept up with cooking demands while running the very technical games and never missed a beat for the 2-3 hours I used it. Didn’t even need the overclocking. Great computer. Would 100% buy again! Be sure to get the extra hard drive if you order the one that doesn’t come with the second one. Really helps store everything.

I got this laptop , because i found that what you payed for was a good bang for the buck. However, two days into owning the machine the intel ssd that came in the laptop started to throw windows errors. Which would cause the machine to detect no bootable device and crash. So, i sent it to get repaired via Acer repair center and it took almost a month to get the mahince back. Not happy with the poor quality parts and the really long wait time for acer to repair your products.

Awesome machine. Fan can get loud but that frame rate is real high! Approved for gaming.

I have owned this laptop for about 8 months. My only complaint is in regard to a problem nobody can fix. I cannot turn the graphics settings to max without overheating a bit. Let me be clear. No other laptop cools as well as this one. You will not get better. I will consider this line of laptops and its successors for as long as they keep this level of quality. Maybe one day we will stop concentrating on faster/more cores and threads and work on cooling solutions that matter. Again, if you want a gaming laptop under $2000, look no further. *Updated* There is a fan control next to the Start Button in Windows. There you can set the fans to Max. They are very loud but definitely cool this thing down even during heavy gaming. After a year, I am satisfied.
