Very good specs in a portable package of 1.4kg. However, 1 glaring flaw is the uneven keyboard backlight. In addition, with the backlight on during daytime makes the keyboard characters almost unreadable. Silver keys and a white backlight is a bad combination. I have a hp laptop with black keys and I do not face this readability issue.

I got this for personal and light work use. I do some freelance work and this performs well and manages many tabs open and can process through downloads without slowing. Totally underwhelmed. It arrived with a ding on the top. Not a dealbreaker. It started off ok, and I used it exclusively for 2 weeks for basic tasks like word processing and surfing the web for research. This did ok for the first month or so, then it just started lagging so badly. Its battery life is horrible, so you will ALWAYS have to have it plugged in. And this is just using something very basic like Microsoft Word and a browser window. It’s humming and getting hot and struggling an hour after firing it up.

I bought this Swift X just over one month ago.I immediately upgraded the O/S nvme to 2tb,& added an additional 2tb nvme. I installed steam, Amd Tuning utility, & a custom version of windows 10. Total ram on idle was 1.2g.

I really needed to buy a laptop after unintentionally breaking my old one, I did some research on YouTube and came across videos about this product and will all the good reviews its gotten I decided to purchase it and Im glad I did.

Overall a clean nice looking & performing laptop. Mylast experience with acer was poor this is good!

I received the Acer Swift X from the Amazon Vine review program. The Vine targets offerings based upon my purchases and searches, and I had been looking at Macbook Air laptops when this was offered.

Laptop is really looking elegant and its lightweight. Its perfect for both office type of work to high demanding apps like adobe. I also played on it several modern games and they worked like charm! However this laptop has been purchased only for work stuff so its really doing the job great!

THE BAD:

I have been looking at several laptops before buying this model. Many pages recommend it, also If you look over the reviews for this model and the 512GB there are many reviews that have been done as a free product. This is ok -marketing but lets go to my experience.
