> 24 hourThis laptop is pretty powerful for its size, I do still image and video processing. When plugged in its reasonably fast. Battery life is pretty good un-plugged doing not CPU intensive activities. The screen resolution is acceptable. The screen is very bright, I turn down the brightness a lot in less bright settings.

> 24 hourI do a lot of video editing and though I love everything Apple creates, I’m not a huge fan of their laptops or desktops. I grew up using windows and adobe products and I know that macs are supposed to be great for editing videos, but the cost and learning of a new software keep me from making the switch. This laptop has handled every 4K video I’ve thrown at it and it is super portable which is great as I mostly shoot drone footage. All around a great laptop.

> 24 hourThis is the best laptop you can buy for the price point especially if you aren’t into bulky gaming laptops but still want to game amongst other things. It has great battery life, good for gaming but the camera and microphone is lacking. I also had a wifi driver issue but that resolved itself and I never saw that issue again. Other than those things extremely happy with my purchase, this will last me years.

> 24 hourEDIT: disabling processor power boost (aka turbo boost) solved temperature issues with the laptop and also decreased fan noise by 99%

> 24 hourOver all I really liked this laptop when I first got it, yeah, it seemed thin and light and actually had a at least usable GPU for gaming and even some light VR. Unfortunately, I dont feel it is built to last.

> 24 hourThe laptop worked fine for a year, then started getting hot when I was using it or charging. It died last week, and the local computer shop said the motherboard is fried, and the replacement cost is the same as a new laptop, so it looks I’m now in the market for a new laptop. I’ve had good luck with Acer laptops in the past, which is why I bought this one. Don’t know if this is just bad luck or a problem with their thin/light lines, but I think my days with Acer are over.
