The laptop worked fine for a year, then started getting hot when I was using it or charging. It died last week, and the local computer shop said the motherboard is fried, and the replacement cost is the same as a new laptop, so it looks I’m now in the market for a new laptop. I’ve had good luck with Acer laptops in the past, which is why I bought this one. Don’t know if this is just bad luck or a problem with their thin/light lines, but I think my days with Acer are over.

this was great value at a great price. laptop looks good. better than i expected. bummed about not being able to update ram. but other than that no problems thus far.

Muy buena compra, no pesa mucho, es minimalista, muy rapida, elegante la batería dura mucho. Lo único que no me parece es que solo tiene 2 puertos USB, y no tiene puerto Ethernet.

This is a great laptop for someone interested in having more computing power in portable device, especially if you dont mind the rather lackluster display that this little guy comes with.

It’s too expensive for what you get, a small laptop tgat is kind of slow if you run more than a couple programs. It shouldn’t cost $1200, it should be more on $800 price range. Disappointed.

Great product, high performance machine, everything that I wanted when I purchased this. However, after working fine for a couple weeks (maybe a hiccup occasionally), the network adapter completely stopped working. No WiFi settings were even available in the settings. Upon looking in the Device Manager, the computer did not even recognize a WiFi adapter at all. It appears to be a manufacturing defect, so I will be shipping the computer back to be fixed. I will admit that this process hasnt been too bad, since this ordeal is occurred less than 90 days after the product was bought, I dont believe that I am paying any costs.

Aside from a ton of bloatware and missing drivers which I fixed with AVG, the laptop felt great. Very light, as they claim. Battery life is pretty average, maybe above than average.

I received this laptop just a few days ago and Im loving it so far. Ill be updating my review later on...
