I ordered this computer for Christmas for my son in 2022 and within five months, the charging port is failing and sparks are seen when plugging it in. Otherwise, this laptop has functioned well, but this is a major flaw, so I recommend avoiding this product.

This is by far one of the best Windows laptops I have ever owned. It came with minimal bloatware (much of which I cleaned up upon receiving the laptop) and the memory and processor performance of my personal laptop keep up with high loads: multiple virtual machines running, WSL running Linux, Firefox, VSCode, Spotify, Teams and Outlook run almost constantly on my laptop with no gaps in work or delays from loading.

I tend to be very demanding on my laptops - multiple tabs open, games, videos, music, writing apps - so I need a powerful laptop that can stand up to my needs without overheating or bogging down. This Acer Swift meets my needs and then some. It has an AMD Ryzen 7 5000 Series Mobile Processor and the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU, so it can stream and create effortlessly - perfect for college students or anyone in need of a powerful but lightweight laptop. It even offers an embedded fingerprint reader for added security. The only drawback is that you cant upgrade the RAM, but in all honesty, the 16GB it comes with is plenty.

This computer fits all my wants and needs. A small-ish laptop that is portable and great to do school work or even a little bit of gaming.

I had gotten this laptop for college and a bit of side gaming. It works like a charm! I knew the specs were pretty good and I didnt really expect it to be this good. Overall good laptop

EDIT: disabling processor power boost (aka turbo boost) solved temperature issues with the laptop and also decreased fan noise by 99%

Im amazed how well this laptop does for its size and price. Its super responsive for everything, and plays every game I have on the highest settings. Its so small I dont have to think twice about lugging it around like I usually have to do with laptops powerful enough for what I need. Its also nice to be able to use a USB C dock with power and only have one cable to connect and disconnect to hook up to everything. Its also nice that the screen isnt glossy so doesnt reflect everything, yet it looks amazing. The only trade off seems to be its quite plasticky and not the most rugged feeling laptop.
