I recommend the floss bags. I bought some (with a 3 ring included) years ago, and they really help keep floss separated, organized, and neat. My only disappointment is that the description and photo indicated that they come with a 3 ring, and there is no ring. I could have bought the bags without the ring cheaper elsewhere.

This is an answer to a prayer as I recently bought a wedding sampler kit that has over 20 colors of floss all hanging from a strip of cardboard, making a tangled mess. Now they are organized and easy to use. And I appreciate the fact that they added a nice spot to write the color number on each little bag and a hole with which to string them onto a metal band!

Sturdy bags, Ive never had one rip on me and they close without hassle (unlike the sandwich bags some people are comparing them with). The most hassle free to store floss during a project - you can stuff the floss, the label, and unfinished threads in there, and you dont have to worry about your silks snagging on anything. These bags are sometimes packaged with metal rings - this packaging is without a ring. In any case I prefer to use a cable keyring like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016K7QT8S because it is much lighter and you can get a bunch if you want to file them on rings.

The do exactly what they are intended to do! Also the hole for the floss ring is not located on the bag portion itself...so on the off chance it rips you are not loosing your floss like with some store brand floss bags. A 3x5 card will not fit exactly in the bag you have to trim it down just a bit. I cheat and buy pack of index cards just for these and immediately trim them and keep them together with my extra bags so that I can grab and go!! Woth the card inside the bags have more stability and fit perfect in a shoe box size container!!

I love these floss bags!!! I dont have to wind the floss onto bobbins (an extra step!!!) The floss doesnt get the crimps that come from bobbins. I can organize my floss numerically on big rings and know what I have when I start a new project and then easily add new colors to my hoard without reorganizing everything!

I have used these bags for my floss for years and years. I love them. I write the color number on the outside of the bag and slide it on to a ring. I have 5 or 6 large rings full of bags with floss inside. I am a cross stitcher and have enjoyed my hobby for over 20 years. I can recommend these bags.

The bags are great for organizing my embroidery thread, but i thought it came with the ring binder shown in the photo. Would be nice if it did. Guess I should have paid more attention, but now I have to find one of those.

I love them.i use them to put my embroidery floss in keeps them organized and from getting Tangled. I dont like the card organizers they come on they get Tangled up and when get low the thread falls out of hole. And sometimes the card holes rip.
