I was hesitant to buy these blankets because of how much they cost. Im so glad I did though. These are the BEST. Ive used them for almost everything: swaddling, stretching over the car seat with a fan inside during the middle of summer when theres no shade or a/c nearby, covering the car window to block the sun from the baby in the car seat on long trips, as a regular blankie, you name it. I wish I bought these sooner, and I now gift them and recommend them to everyone. Theyre nice and large to do with as you want, and they dont get hot to where you have to worry about overheating in the summer. Theyre honestly great for all temps, which is nice.

I bought these swaddles before my baby was born. I had no idea how amazing they would be. I saw all the good reviews and saw that everyone liked them, but couldnt imagine why anyone would want to spend so much money on something that seemed like a piece of fabric..... I understand now. These have been a lifesaver for us. They are amazing. My baby cannot sleep without being swaddled. He was born small (6 lbs 11 oz) but grew very fast (about 20 lbs by 6 months) and these swaddles still work perfectly. Hes also long, so his feet do stick out sometimes after I swaddle, but it still does the job. These swaddles are soft and stretchy and a really breathable fabric. LOVE THEM. Highly recommend these. Will buy another set for my next baby. These would be a wonderful gift for a new mom.

I super love these pretty swaddle blanket! It’s big, feels soft and very useful. I use it for my baby as a swaddling blanket and I use it during breast pumping, very versatile! My baby and I can still use these forever! Lol! I have 6 blankets and I love to have more of these!

I live in the desert and the summer gets HOT!! But I have kids who can’t live without blankets. So these soft, thin, cotton blankets are perfect. We use these for everything and wash them often and they hold up well. They are a teething cloth, burp cloth, we wipe the babies face with it, a nursing cover, literally everything except being used as a diaper is what we use these for and they are amazing!

Have purchased these blankets for several family and friends babies. They are of the highest quality. Lightweight, soft, warm, variety of colors and prints. Great for swaddling. I worked at a baby store registry and would educate the new moms-to-be about the quality of these blankets and other items made by Aden and Anais.

I LOVE these swaddles so much! They are by far my favorite. My son is definitely a blanket kid and these are my favorite to give to him (he loves any muslin blanket). The colors are super vibrant, the material is thick and the blankets are a good size. We used them when he was smaller to swaddle him and they worked great for that as well. Now that hes older, he just loves on them when hes going to sleep <3 Im obsessed with the patterns (I call him my Man Cub)! I would definitely buy again...Im really tempted to get all of the Disney ones, but my husband would kill me.

They are beautiful and soft, my daughter loves them. Pricey but she is worth it.

There are so many reviews for these blankets and mostly good for a great reason. They are worth 5 star!!! My son is 2.5 years old now and he still uses these blankets in conjunction with the Dream Blankets. These blankets are part blanket and part soothie for him. When he gave up his pacifier over Christmas, he began to rely more heavily on these blankets for comfort. He loves to rub his face on them. Last year, when he had ear infection, we used one blanket on him and he would rub his fingers on a piece of the blanket for comfort. As an infant, we swaddled him until he was about 6 months old and he was in the 90th percentile in size. As a mom, I have used these blankets as a impromptu changing pad, booger wipe, napkin, tummy time mat, shader for the infant car seat, and many other uses that are mentioned in other reviews. Its been so useful and practical that my mom, my sister and I have bought a pack as baby shower gifts to other new moms. We have owned the 44x44 and 47x47. I find that it is so much easier to swaddle a newborn with the 44x44 since the 47x47 is too bulky. We kept and added more 47x47 as my son got older, but we passed the 44x44 down to my nephew after he was born.

These blankets, plus the rocknplay, caused me to actually get enough sleep when I had a 2 year old and a newborn! I didnt want to worry about baby overheating, so I would lay this blanket in the rocknplay, then lay baby down, then wrap the blanket around him and tuck the sides in. It wasnt a true swaddle, but still kept him covered (just from the waist down), and he felt comfortably tucked in. He slept really well with this combination. I like that these arent heavy like flannel or fleece blankets, and they are not too warm. I find that they are big enough that they still cover my 3.5 year old if he wants to sleep with a light blanket. And they still look as good as new after many washings, for 2 years straight.

I bought my first Aden and Anais blanket with my second son while we were in the hospital with an extended NICU stay. The blanket quickly became my favorite and I wish I had it with my first baby. They are durable, large, wash well, and get better (and softer) with time. I ran across this pattern and couldnt get it out of my brain, so I decided to add this set to the one I always used. I use these blankets ALL the time - they go with me everywhere. I have used them for swaddling, a nursing over, a car seat cover (in a light drizzle or a windy walk), a blanket, a sun shade, a burp cloth, to sop up messes, and to clean off my older kids face/skin after muddy or sandy play. Throw them in the wash and they are good to go. I would highly recommend these to any new momma or a mother that has kiddos and is on the fence about purchasing. They are a bit of money, but truly are a work horse and worth the investment.
