> 3 dayYou still have to be careful not to have the volume to high to avoid hearing damage, but these are the best out there. Sturdy and forgiving. It charges quickly and the battery life is 8 hours of solid play! My AfterShokz were worth every penny and I’ve purchased 2 more as gifts for family members.

> 3 dayThis headphone is comfortable to wear for hours. The charge last for hours. I used it for like 10 hours one day, and it was still going strong. I don’t know how long before it would die. It stays put while exercising or whatever. It does not go directly into your ear, therefore you can still carry on a conversation as long as it’s not turned up too loud. It works while wearing a hearing aid. I’m deaf on one side, so an ear “bud” that stickers into your ear isn’t a good choice for me. It comes with a nice case, but I’m ordering a “hard” case for better protection. Time will tell how it holds up, but I really like it so far.

> 3 dayI need these for work. I need to be anchored in some music, but I need to be able to hear whats going on around me. These are perfect! The audio quality is better by far than my Airpod 2nd gen, and thats saying something for bluetooth earbuds. The battery life is fantastic, regularly getting my through an 8 hour shift with 40-20 percent power left over. I recommend this to anyone!

> 3 daySo I was intrigued by the notion of headphones that rendered sound while allowing for hearing surroundings. Initial impressions were good--The headset was comfortable and light, and phone calls crystal clear. Then I listened to music, and thats where the performance of these headphones falls flat--pun intended. Pick your genre--rock, hip hop, R&B, pop--the music is flat and theres just no bass response to speak up. Turning up the volume results in mild vibration and exploring the iPhone EQ settings helped little. Conclusion? If youre intent is to listen to podcasts or audio books while walking or biking, then this headset will suit you just fine. If youre seeking even a modicum of bass performance, but still want wireless freedom and sweat protection, I encourage looking at the Bose Soundsport or SONY WF-SP800N ear buds.

> 3 dayI had a pair of the Aftershokz Titanium for a year and have to say I wasnt impressed with it overall. I decided to give the Aeropex a try, and my gosh what a difference this version makes! First to get a few things out of the way for those new to bone conduction. These headphones do not isolate outside sound - by design - so you wont be able to make out much of your podcast in a noisy subway car. Nor can you expect real bass. Its simple physics. If you boomy bass is what you are after, or you expect to constantly be in a noisy environment, youll be much happier with a $20 pair of earbuds with good sealing tips. You use bone conduction headset to retain full situation awareness of your aural surroundings. Compare to the original Aftershockz, the Aeropex is lighter, much more comfortable to wear, and have appreciably fuller and louder sound. Its completely worth of the $80 extra IMHO. I am also happy with the customer service - I had some issues with the multi-function button with my original pair. I contacted customer support and they sent me a replacement pair within days - no questions asked. There are two issues that prevents me from giving this 5 stars. First is the questionable decision to use a proprietary charging cable - sure the magnetic connection works very well and they are nice to include two cables in the box. But Id have much preferred a standard USB-C connection or Qi-based wireless charging, so I dont need to carry yet another cable when I travel. 2nd is a software issue - when headset makes a loud beep whenever you press a button, and its volume is not adjusted for the volume setting of the headset. So the beeps are startlingly loud when you are listening to some quiet music. Its gotten so annoying that I try not to use the headset to adjust volume at all at night.
