> 3 dayFirst time using it the bottom plug pulled out. I would’ve put a lot of use to this being a maintenance supervisor and having to work on 70 houses. I will not buy this item or brand again, I’ll be sticking with Klein Tools for my maintenance department.

> 3 dayI run a bunch of 3D printers and recently had blown several fuses - I needed to be sure that my power strip and socket was not the issue as the expensive cost of having under voltage or a loss of ground was not something that I wanted to risk - this one is incredibly easy to use - multiple error detection codes that can detect several different faults even button to ensure leak detection receptacles are working properly - hands down the easiest way to check your sockets at home for faults and correct voltage! 10/10 recommend this one for any DIY home owner!

> 3 dayThis is exactly what I needed. I am an electrician and I was looking for an easy plug tester that showed not only if the wiring was correct, but what the actual voltage is at the outlet. It is great and does exactly what it says. Definitely recommend this for the professional as well as anyone looking too check the outlets in their own home.

> 3 dayUsed this recently while I was setting up some new outlets and have used it helping some friends with electrical work. It is a great way to double-check if you are doing everything correctly. Super easy to use and understand so even someone doing a DIY outlet repair or just checking through your house outlets for any faults. I wish the screen was at a bit of an angle because especially on outlets lower to the ground the viewing angles of the lcd are not great, just angeling the screen up a bit might have helped. Overall a pretty good device that I am happy with.

> 3 dayI have a similar device that just has colored lights and costs less, but this is easier to read. It also will test for GFI working correctly. I talso shows you the current and frequency. If it trips when you plug it in for GFI, that is the purpose, to test it. If it does NOT trip when you are testing it then you are not protected.

> 3 dayThe meter is about 2 vac off and the hz reading always shows a steady 60hz even on a generator that was running at 64hz.

21-11-2024This thing works great and is so easy to read. It’s just slightly difficult to store. I wish the plug folded into the main unit, rather than remaining rigid - it would just make it that much easier to store. Other than that one thing, this thing is so much easier than the old “decode the 3 lights to see what state your outlet is in” reader it replaced.
