It works perfectly with the sound bar. The batteries in the old one corroded.

So the remote for the sound bar (the original) lasted like 2 months. POS. I bought two replacements just in case. So far it works . . . but its not like its swiss watch construction. It is an 8 dollar deal. So you cant really go wrong.

We lost our remote and I saw this one. Just as described. I put new batteries in and this was as good as the remote that came with the soundbar.

When the remote for my sound bar turned up missing and the chorus of I dont know and not me was echoing throughout the house when I asked- I decided to try a replacement- Flawless. Those who have the vizio soundbar know you are stuck without a remote as it controls everything!

This is the exact remote that came with the sound bar which was lost after grand kids visit. We were putting batteries into the new one when my husband looked over and saw the original remote had slid under a lamp, so we were able to compare that it is the exact remote. We are happy to have a backup because getting up to push manual settings on a soundbar is so old school as our granddaughter always tells us. Great purchase!
