Amazon Basics Window Fan with Manual Controls, Twin 9-Inch Blades

Quiet. Full width when extenders out is 34. So far been running for 48 hours straight with no issues.

This is 5 star for most of you. Noise level is acceptable BUT this is going into a San Francisco Victorian with big windows and no screens and the side panels dont stretch that far. Unlike last summer, it hasnt been that 95 to 98 degree heat. Our buildings are mostly not air conditioned and window units are usually not an option. But hey...fans are good. Cool off the place at night and close the curtains during the day. I ended up buying two of these which nicely store under the bed. Very reasonable price. Hopefully they wont be needed that much.

I am so upset. I thought this window fan would fit perfectly in a room window when you wanted to give the air conditioner a rest. The product arrived damaged and looked used.

It’s ok not strong enough

Use a window fan between my bedroom and an adjoining room, (re-purposed porch). No LEDs makes sense as it doesnt disturb sleep. Manual controls allow both fans to run at different speeds and different directions, This is the third fan Ive used in this window (two name brand ones before) and Ive found my favorite (this one)!

Ordered digital model Likes: Quiet on High Dislikes: Hums on Low/Med (possibly voltage regulator-related), beeps when power is restored and every time a button pressed.

You can hardly feel the air from this unit with both fans blowing let alone when you have one going each direction. Box fans are cheaper and provide much more air flow

This is a great window fan. Being able to switch fan direction for each fan individually is nice. One downside, the adjustable sides dont extend very far and they want to close back in. Other than that, the fan works great.

This window fan works well, has some feet to set it on a window sill instead of in the window sash itself which is a nice feature so that you do not need to move the fan around every time you use it, you can just open the window and turn it on. the noise level is reasonable, and i would say the airflow for this size fan is marginal/good, the actual fan blades are a bit small for the housing that they are in which creates losses. Overall definitely worth the cost.
