> 3 dayDespite saying it was I dont think this CPU was compatible with my Corsair Vengeance 16gb RAM. I tried changing BIOS settings but couldnt get them working. Id go for the 3000x.

> 3 dayI have an all AMD system. Mother board, Graphics card memory and CPU. It will crash for no reason whatsoever. I cannot even read email with it! It will work for a day or two and then it will crash and hang three times the next day. Extremely frustrating! I thought that if I bought all the components from one manufacturer that they would work together. NOT.

> 3 dayI am not a real computer geek, but this was impressive. It was very easy to install and very fast. I use it for video editing and am very happy with its speed and reliability.

> 3 dayIs it as fast as an 9900k in Unreal-based games? No. An 8700? Nope. An r5 3600 at least? Unfortunately no, but if you want something solid for 1080p-4k gaming (the higher the res the closer it gets when compared to higher end CPUs) that multitasks incredibly well this is a phenomenal chip price. Youre basically getting an 8 core 16 thread Intel Haswell Refresh I7 when it comes to performance, but youre only paying $120-$150 for it. Remember Sandy Bridge from Intel? The i5s and i7s that literally lasted a decade? Well I believe this is what you have here. Youre saving a ton of money while purchasing something that will *most likely* be adequate to good through the life of the upcoming console generation with a RAM and Video Card upgrade somewhere in the middle (if you currently have an rx5700/RTX 2070/1080ti or better along with 16GB of RAM; you might need to upgrade to an NVMe if developers start to use that as a quick swap method like the consoles are touting, but I am a bit skeptical on that front. Doubling your RAM will probably be more beneficial unless the storage is somehow faster than the speed of swapping data in your ddr4).
