It is slow according to my expectations

An all-round great CPU. Runs much faster than my first-gen 1600 and comes with a very-RGBy stock cooler. The value-per-performance is also very good as this is a pretty affordable CPU when you take into consideration what it provides.

Got it for $140 in Black Friday.

Decided to get this non-x version for cheaper. Easy to overclock to 4.0ghz @ 1.25v on a B450 Tomahawk. Passed stress tests in Cinebench, Prime95, and Aida64 for 3+ hours. Max temps never went above 75C. However, I am running a Hyper 212 Evo instead of the stock cooler.

Processore ottimo! stabile veloce ma pultroppo il radiatore con la ventola in dotazione non sono allaltezza delle prestazioni termiche della CPU (temperatura sempre sopra i 50°C). A peggiorare il mio giudizio la rottura della ventola che mi ha obbligato a cambiare il sistema di raffreddamento ( DeepCool 400 Gammaxx V2 25€ ) scoprendo che la CPU ora in condizioni di carico non supera i 57°C e con uso normale non supera i 43°C. Nota positiva, dalla ventola guasta (??) ho recuperato la striscia LED rgb che installerò nel case del PC.

Great value if it can be bought for under £200, just be aware that not all ram will overclock properly

I got this just for the CPU, the heatsink will remain in the box. I highly recommend a 3rd party heatsink. However, I can use the fan it arrived with for a extra one for the back of the tower. The CPU alone is worth every cent.
