Ex upgrade from my Ryzen 3

I have to say that I was really upset with this at first when I tried to install it and the instructions seemed to be not nearly good enough. I knew I needed to remove my motherboards built-in plastic rails to get the WraithSpire on. But when you do that, the little chassis that you would screw the WraithSpire into can fall out behind the back of the mobo. I forgot my own rule of thumb: install the CPU and heat sink/cooler BEFORE screwing the mobo into the case. The whole build worked at first boot and seems pretty peppy with some of my Steam games. Would buy again.

Very nice upgrade, especially noticeable in modern games as I was still running old games fine on my old 4 core. Resident evil 2 solid 60 fps on high settings 1080p, csgo 300 fps on 1080p.

Absolutely fantastic CPU for 1080p 144hz gaming and multitasking, cant be beat at its price point!

Better than overpriced garbage Intel processors

Acheté 177€, je suis ravi de ce processeur. Ayant eu le 2700x auparavant, sa chauffe trop élevé ma fait choisir ce 2700 sans le x pour son enveloppe thermique de 65w.

Used for my first gaming rig. Working great so far. Stock cooler works great too.

I bought this when it was on sale for 215 dollars. Crazy low price for this CPU... i use it in a workstation PC that is also a gaming PC. I overclocked it to 4Ghz, which was very easy to do. If you do not have a water cooling system I do not advise overclocking it to 4 ghz... go around 3.8-3.9 with wraith cooler (the closer to 3.8 the better). Otherwise spend 75 dollars on a corsair liquid cooler and push it to 4ghz...

8 cores 16 threads overclockable I bought this as the cpu in my gaming pc. I was running a i5 7500 and this leaves it in the dust.

Excellent 8 core processor . Rated less because Amazon hardly used any packaging for 14k CPU. And plus it was raining on the day of delivery. So package got soaking wet. I will return ASAP if face problem while testing.
