AMD Ryzen 7 2700 Processor with Wraith Spire LED Cooler - YD2700BBAFBOX

This is an awesome CPU! The combination of the WD Black 1TB M.2 drive on the MB, the X470 chipset on the board and the blazing speed of the Ryzen 7 2700, has Windows 10 at the login screen fourteen seconds after pushing the power button and from login to fully loaded desktop in two seconds flat! Im impressed as heck. This is my first new PC build in 20+ years, so I am thrilled with the quality and craftsmanship of the AMD CPU. Running 3D graphics with a GTX 1060 card relies heavily on the CPU for computations and we can play all of our games with full screen graphics, maxed out on resolution, anti-aliasing and any other tweeks, at 100 fps all day with an occasional stutter at 130fps. This CPU rocks! The Wraith Spire is big and beefy. I am happy with the red halo. If you want rainbows, get the Wraith Prism version. Arrived quickly, undamaged and as advertised.

This is my third Ryzen processor, I also have systems with the 2700x and 3900x. I picked this processor up at a great price on a Black Friday.

Amazing and does the job well

This was a huge upgrade for me, coming from an i3-550 (dual core) processor. I was getting 7.5fps on average while encoding 1080p content with RF20 quality in Handbrake. Now Im getting 45-60fps. I used to have to encode things overnight as it took 7 or 8 hours and now I can encode a movie in about an hour, while multitasking as well. Temperatures jump up to around 60C when all cores are being used to encode, which is pretty decent performance with the stock cooler. My only complaint was the attachment of the HSF to my motherboard. It requires holding a backing plate to the back side of the motherboard and due to the difficulty of attaching the screws I dropped the HSF once while getting things lined up just perfect. All in all Im greatly satisfied with the boost in performance while doing pretty much everything on my computer now. I dont regret not getting the x version of this processor.

Even the most challenging software, 2160 video, software compilation, etc, happens very quickly with the Ryzen processors. I did a lot of research and checked out benchmarks before settling on the 8-core Ryzen 2700, which comfortably overclocks from 3.2 GHz to 3.8 GHz without problems. AMD also includes software allowing you to overclock the memory. The CPU does not run hot, and the fan rarely has to speed up even under very heavy loads. Theres a reason why all of the Ryzen processors get solid 5-star reviews by tens of thousands of users.

Mi ordenador con este procesador va como un avión. Así de claro. El ventilador que trae de serie es RGB y es más que suficiente. No es demasiado ruidoso, y en tareas normales no hará nada de ruido. Jugando algo más.
