I was excited about my build and this processor. Put it in my asus 470x prime pro motherboard and absolutely nothing. Absolutely nothing, I reassembled everything and tried again. Absolutely nothing. Motherboard powers up but the cpu wont budge. I am thoroughly disappointed. The motherboard receives power from psu, fans turn on. rgb lights come on. I purchased in September but waited to assemble all my components. I am stuck with a lemon. Jesus help me.

This CPU is all youll need for the most part unless youre pushing the boundaries. Very good performance for the money spent.

I had planned to get the slightly more expensive 2700x version, but Amazon for some unexplained reason canceled my order for that part, so I purchased the 2700 version. It was up and running today. This would make me think twice about building a computer with parts ordered from amazon.
