It didnt hit its boost clock. Im of the understanding a new bios update will fix this.

Considered getting a ryzen9 x3900, but gave this one a chance, and honestly, I cant imagine needing more than this, boots windows on an M2 v970 SSD in less than 4 seconds from power button to login, really cant imagine that the R9 could be that much faster.

It was a little tight to get clips onto MB but other than that it was really easy to install. The fan 8s very quiet. It was a neat surprise to see when I turned it on that it lit up too. It handles World of warcraft nicely, speed is exceptional at loading and downloading. This is something that I am very picky about, I hate having to wait 12hrs for a 3hr download. No lag and gets the job done. Very happy

Upgraded from a ryzen 5 1600 to the r7 3800x, 100% worth the purchase. Runs great, runs cool with stock cooler (under 70c with settings maxed running d3, genshin impact, PoE, LoL, and CoD) with a 100 dollar antec case with nothing but stock fans.

Probably the easiest CPU installation Ive ever done, coming from the blue side. Paired with an x570 matx mobo and 32gb DDR. The included cooler works ok, but is a little noisy under load. If you are looking to OC Id investigate aftermarket solutions but for the general users it would suffice.

I know this isn’t really the sellers fault, but my cpu came with a few pins bent so I had to bend them back before installing

Great cpu and the cooler that comes with it is surprisingly good for an included cpu. Would recommend to anyone building a mid to high level pc
