Its been great for production and gaming.

Just about to the end of my 48 hour burn in test and is holding up strong. Super fast. I installed the 3800x on a msi mpg x570 gaming wifi board and no problems. Running stock prism wraith heatsink. This is the best stock heatsink ive ever seen. Still gonna put a hyper 212 on it later based on research. All I can say is so far so good and I am glad i decided to go with this over the 3600/3600x/I5 9600k. I will update this if I have any problems but I doubt that will happen.

Warning: this cpu runs hot! Out of the box I was getting 40c to 50c using the stock cooler. I was concerned, but apparently the chips architecture makes it idle higher, faster than other chips. This was an upgrade from an old FX 8370 and the performance gap is unbelievable! Highly recommend, but dont panic when you monitor your temps in the bios and see it starting out at 42c.

I was dreading having to install a new processor, motherboard, RAM, etc. but this really made it easier. I selected a MB with the proper slot so it fit right in nicely. And when i saw that it already came with thermal paste on the heat sink I was overjoyed I didnt have to mess with that. Im not even sure where I stored mine lo, Fantastic processor!
