I upgraded from an i7-4790k, which is a massive upgrade, this AM4 chip is perfect for the 30-series GPUs and runs anything you throw at it.

Cheeky little CPU good enough for a perfect middle ground PC user. Games, Productivity and other things you can easily produce with this build.

Why does this come in the plain AMD box youd find on the shelf? It had visible damage from getting beat up in the truck. Card worked fine, but I feel like it could suffer damage without an external package. Card is technically a bit above the price/perf curve, but you cant find the others in stock anyways. This one is in stock relatively frequently.

Me, like anyone else looked at reviews and saw a lot of heating issues with the 5800x

Amazon package arrived sealed correctly. As soon as that was opened I could see the security seal on this item had already been broke. So immediately took a photo. As suspected item was not in box.

This is my first build since the early 2000s I opened the box and pulled out the plastic that held the 5800x. Upon looking at the pins I noticed some of the pins were bent.
