> 3 dayThis thing runs freaking hot and i mean freaking hot i have a full custom water loop on my pc and this thing sits at 50C while doing simple tasks and nearly 65C while gaming the max i have seen is 85C. The thing rips so i really like it but it is very hot.

Greater than one weekI love this cpu and the performance increase has been insane from my 3600, the only issue I have is the auto over clocking setting, I had to set the power setting windows to 99% to stop if from auto overclocking. You can change the settings in ryzenmaster as well but you’ll have to change it every time you reboot your pc.

Greater than one weekRuns quite hot but performs like a beast. Only get this cpu if you want a workstation alongside gaming. Otherwise 5600x has similar performance for gaming, streaming and content creation. You wouldnt need 8 cores for streaming.

> 3 dayBEAST of a cpu. Price isn’t very competitive compared to its family chips dollar to core value, however when you look at intels direct competitor price point, it’s still not a bad price. For anyone upgrading from previous Ryzen, these chips run a lot hotter. You need a very good air cooler or an aio. Temps aren’t as much of a deal breaker as I’ve seen people make it out to be. My 5800x was stable all core OC at 4.75 GHz 1.29v with a cheap air cooler. Temp would hover at around 70 c while gaming and streaming. I decided to get an aio so I could up the voltage and squeeze even more performance out. 1.3125v w/ PBO enabled - averages 4.9 Ghz while gaming, 65 degrees c.

> 3 dayI bought this for $270 and installed in an ASUS Tuf Gaming X-570 Plus Wi-fi mobo. Im using a Peerless Assassin 120 to cool this CPU. PBO enabled and Im hitting ~50C at idle and ~70C during gaming, with a 23C ambient temperature baseline. Temps can get as high as 88C if I run synthetic benchmarks like Prime95 or Cinebench.
