AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

Deux pins du processeur était plié à la sortie de la boîte. Pour un produit sensé être neuf c’est quand même embêtant...

Rapide et consommation maitrisée remplace un un 3900x lui même excellent.

An hour of tinkering got me to 4.64GHz all-core, with temps below 80C. ASUS 570 TUF gaming, 32GB 3600C16 Ballistix, and Arctic 280mm AIO.

This gave me 20+ extra fps in all my games up from a ryzen 5 3600. People said I wasnt getting bottlenecked much, but they were wrong and even though it cost $350, 20+ fps is worth it to me.

I initially was buying parts for my first build during the start of the pandemic so I spaced out my buying as supplies began to dwindle. By the time I finished the build at the beginning of the year ( started two years ago ), I had a Ryzen 7 2700x paired with an RTX 3060xc. The CPU was bottlenecked completely and thus brought me literally half the performance of my new 3060xc.

Non metto 5 stelle solo per il prezzo che è un po esagerato 530 nel momento dellacquisto, se non vi interessa un intenso multi tasking allora lanciatevi su una 5800x che comunque è un ottimo processore. Tornando al 5900x, è davvero una bestia, provenendo da un 3700x non mi aspettavo delle grosse differenze, invece devo ricredermi, guadagnato un boost nelle prestazioni generali e anche nel gaming davvero accentuato. Temperature stabili con un picco di 75° nelluso intensivo (il che è ok) si consiglia caldamente di non usarla con un dissipatore stock o comunque dalle basse prestazioni. Io lo uso con un Noctua NH U12S con doppia ventola (push/pull); magari un aggiornamento del BIOS per una maggiore compatibilità non guasta

TL;DR; the CPU is excellent at what it does (workstation/gaming), I see no reason to adopt Intel’s attempt at a new chip design for quite a few years, assuming it becomes the norm. Also, please ensure you cool this properly, it needs a good cooler, especially with DOCP settings on RAM.

Not gonna lie, it worked for a while but then Im getting stutters and Im seeing the upward shoot of 80c-90c in my CPU, which is affecting several games I play. I think they sent me a broken CPU.

É necessário ter um sistema de refrigeração . Estou usando Noctua Nh-D15. Em jogos a temperatura fica em 58 a 62 graus. Gabinete Redragon Demolisher, excelente fluxo de ar. Placa mãe Asus 570X gamming plus, 32 GB aram 3200mhz xpg strix D41. Antes eu tinha um ryzen 7 3700x, excelente processador tb, neste config.
