AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

TL;DR

Its everything you need in a cpu. For gaming, multi-threaded work loads, rendering, etc. 12 cores and 24 threads, overclockable, and especially under $400? One of the best options you can go with in terms of capability and value.

Bought it 4 months ago to build my pc everything worked fine till last week when my pc died. Brought it to memory express for a diagnostic. The technicians found the cpu (Ryzen 9 5900x) to be defective. Im starting the warranty process for the part and will update the review on how well that goes. Update - warranty process was ok everything is over email. I had to pay international shipping to the states which was 100 dollars to send it back. They paid shipping to send me the new unit.

Je viens dun i5 [email protected] et en jeu cest vraiment un autre monde (voir photo juste avec le changement de cpu je passe de 61 en moyenne à 104 ! Et la carte graphique est la même)

Was happy to score this on a Prime deal for $70 off! Was not happy when it came out of the sealed AMD box with 4+ bent pins. Managed to straighten them enough to get it installed, but would not boot. Sends DRAM error code. Nothing is wrong with the DRAM. This CPU is brand new and broken. I am shocked at the poor Quality Control by AMD, this part should have never even been packaged! You would think these are tested first.

Totally impressed with speed. Really impressed the guys who built my computer, who recommended that I get it. Does not disappoint.

Decided to upgrade from my 3900x to this....worst decision in my life!

If you are a gamer and do high workloads this cpu is for you, it just runs like butter.

It does what it has to do, excellent cpu no issues at all. Im supporting the “no longer” under dog, competition is a sweet thing makes everyone get off their behind.

I like this cpu however after i purchased it on prime day, i noticed Walmart had it for 25$ less than amazon.
