First time I have purchased a top of the line CPU when it came to PC building, and it did not disappoint. Wanted to get something to future proof myself for the next few years when it came to gaming and computer usage and I found what I needed. The 12 cores and 24 threads personally will be enough processing power for me for years to come, and is more than enough for my current needs. Able to achieve 4.9Ghz on all cores with ease.

I managed to buy at MSRP, it now goes for $540 on Newegg quite often, Im thankful the Zen 3 markup was not scaled making this overall the best value CPU and should last me 3-4 years easily. Really snappy processor Im a heavy multitasker and it switches programs instantly no fuss. On my Asus Tuf gaming plus X570 it runs at 4.55GHz stock out of the box on a cheap 360mm aio.

Gain de perfs dans tous les jeux notamment avec le SAM activé dans le bios. Javais un ryzen 5 3600x avant le gain est net et lisse même mieux les graphiques de ma radeon 6900xt. En plus de ça il y a une nette amélioration en transferts de fichiers. Les compressions sont plus rapides (7zip, winrar..) même chose avec les traitements vidéos. Ryzen9 3900Xからの買い替えです。AM４世代が近づいていますが交換にはマザー、メモリすべての交換が必要なため当面利用できると価格改定を機会に購入しました。

Exactly the upgrade i needed

It’s an amazing CPU, bang for the buck, and more than you’d need. It’s perfect!

I saved for 6 months to buy this , I was so excited as the performance of this chip is incredible. Im using a 360mm aio cooler and precision boost overdrive enabled with a negative curve offset of 25 and it boosts to 4950mhz quite happily at 60celcius . Dont get me wrong Im sure there are people who can get more out of these or have there own way of doing things but that was quick enough for me . Even with am5 out now I wont be upgrading from this for along time . I would definitely recommend this cpu to anyone who does multi content as well as gaming. If all you are doing is gaming a 7800 x3d is a better option .

It copes with all the tasks I give. Its a great daily driver and games brilliantly.
