Amazing performance. Has no trouble in turboing to 4.7GHz and can also reach 4.9GHz if overclocked properly. The only downside is that it runs hot.

Upgraded from a 3700x, Im seeing 20 - 50 FPS higher performance in most DX11 / DX12 games @ 1440p Ultra Settings... Paired with a Asus Tuf x570 Plus Wifi, a MSI 6800xt GPU, 64GB DDR4 @ 3600MT/s, And All NVMe Storage. PBO Pushed it to 4.9ghz stable @ 1.3V, max temps at 74⁰C on a 280mm AIO, idle temps at 32⁰C. Also overclocked it to 5.1ghz at 1.32Volts, stable 79⁰c max temp OCd. MAKE SURE you install the proper Chipset driver directly from AMD and disable Windows Driver Updates !!!

Some issues with PBO and x570 motherboard. But overall a good processor. Increase in frame rates, am4 socket compatibility is awesome. Would reccomend.

Nach zehn Jahren habe ich mir mal wieder einen neuen PC zusammengebaut. Dieser Prozessor brachte dabei eine deutliche Leistungssteigerung von meinem alten I7 3770 mit. Allerdings muss ich feststellen, das der Sprung auf Single Core bezogen gar nicht so deutlich ist. Das Notensatzprogramm Finale ist gar nicht so viel schneller geworden. Liegt auch daran, dass es gerade Mal zwei bis drei Kerne dieses Prachtstücks nutzt. Als Kühler nutze ich einen Noctua NH-U12A. Damit werden die 70 Grad auch im Benchmark Test (Cinebench) kaum überschritten.

For gaming, its overkill, unless you play heavy multiplayer game that requires lots of processing while communicating with servers. For rendering and things alike, no stutter and the PC experience is super smooth. If youre a heavy content creator or professional artist alike, this CPU does the job done for a very good price.

I bought this for gaming and video production. It was built to serve both of these needs. The artificial scarcity due to scalpers is unforgivable, however. This product was released 11/05/2020, and it cost me about 60% more even after waiting 3 months on a preorder. The value would have been good at MSRP, but expect to pay through the teeth if you want one anytime soon.

On Ebay you can get one at around 799.00 buy it now which is still about 250.00 above what it should be. The greed factor on Ebay seems to be less than here currently. I recieved mine 2 days ago and could not be happier.

Opened the first time after buying all my parts and turns out the pins were bent. Will have to contact the manufacture since its beyond its purchase date from Jul 22nd. Be sure to open and check the pins that theyre not bent or broken, folks
