AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

It wont lock into socket, no visible damage to pins, no socket issues and compatible motherboards tested, customer service just fobbed me off to a team that will come back to me within 24 hours, apparently Im a valued customer with a paperweight that cost £250.

Unless you are doing some really CPU heavy stuff then yeah buy it. Render times are great now. But if you plan to game better spend on GPU.

Per giocare gran parte dei giochi, anche di ultima generazione, le versioni precedenti come il 5700 sono più che sufficienti con un adeguata scheda video, ma i 12 core vengono molto utili per velocizzare operazioni di rendering, encoding e multitasking.

Acquistato insieme ad una mobo ASUS TUF b550 plus, memoria corsair dominator e rtx4070 ti.

After a week I would have constant crashes. Popped everything out and still had crashes with the 5900x. Popped my 3600 in and the WHEA bsods were a thing of the past. Customer support wasnt very helpful either, they just told me to return it and buy it again. On top of that, it took forever to return my money

Replace my 3600, got about 20% more in performance. It also uses less power than 2700x.

Awesome CPU. My frame rates jumped up by 30 to 40 frames per second.

Pasé de un ryzen 5 2400g a este, fue un cambio brutal, en juegos los fps subieron, siendo mas especifico, warzone paso de 70 fps a 120, en edicion de video ya no sufro con que la visualización previa de trabe y puedo editar con más facilidad.
