Andersen Lower Screen Roller Assembly (1991 to Present) - 1997310

Ordered 4 to replace the bottom rollers on 2 Anderson screen doors and they fit perfectly. Plastic on the old ones was so brittle I had to break them to remove them. The new ones snapped in just fine. I was unable to find these at any hardware store. Adjusted the height with a screwdriver after installing in the track and they glide beautifully.

For a few years, one of my patio screen doors was having some trouble opening and closing; it would just drag on the track a bit. I thought at one point that a piece of the door had fallen off, but on closer inspection, I could see that the little wheel had been chipped! From the Anderson site I found that this was the part I needed to fix my dragging screen. Received it quickly and install was easy -- once I got the original part out of the screen (that was actually the toughest part.) Now my 12 year old screen works like its brand new again!

This was a very easy fix to my 20 year old Anderson door wall sliding screen door. There is a video online showing exactly how to install this and it took all of five minutes. Screen door is sliding like new. Old lower wheel unit was made of metal this is plastic but seems to work perfectly.

Exactly the part I needed for my recalcitrant screen. Works like new now. Check youtube for installation instructions. Its not super intuitive.

Best $10 I ever spent. A bit tough to single-handedly remove the old bottom rollers, had to resort to my mini vice grips, but once3 that was done, VOILA!, the replacements slid very nicely into place. And years of frustration gone just like that.

Screen door hasnt worked this well in years. This is a very easy fix and apparently routine maintenance if your patio door sees a lot of use. I honestly had no idea it was so cheap and easy make my old door operate like new again.

I could have spent hours running around looking for this item. It fit perfectly and screen opens again.
