Andersen Screen Door Latch in White 1991 to Present

Should include a washer to rotate more smoothly, and a plug for the screw hole. Looks cheesy.

The latch was easy to install and use. Wish it was included when I originally thought purchase the door. Now 6 yrs later I found it on Amazon and it works as expected.

Works fine, house was missing this when we purchased it, wont keep anyone out but will keep door closed

This, just like the original, is PLASTIC! Hardly a proper latch. If someone really wanted to gain entry, all they have to do is force it and it WILL break, just like the original it is replacing! Would have been MUCH better if made of metal. As is, it will only deter a small child from opening it, that is if they dont damage the screen in the process.
