> 24 hourI should give this program 4 stars because it isnt rally intuitive to use. If you are used to the workflow of a typical drawing program (ie Corel, Adobe, or even AutoCAD), then this will be a bit confusing at first. However, they do have a nice (written not video unfortunately) tutor on using the product, and I have to tell you that I am impressed with it. It is actually very powerful and can do some neat things. Below you will find a link to a YouTube video I did using this program (and a couple of others). In this software I drew the character and animated its mouth to the vocal track using that built-in feature. After adjusting my audio in Audacity to tone down some of the peaks in the audio, it worked great. I still dont know all there is to know about the program, but it is very powerful, especially for the Debut version. I would find it hard to justify buying the newer and more expensive Pro version 10 at $200 for how little I need animation in the things I do (I am NOT a professional animator nor am I very good at drawing cartoons...I am an Electrical Engineer goofing off on YouTube). I paid less than $10 for it and I would have bought Debut 10 at its typical price had I known if the program was actually this cool (although again, awkward to use for someone experienced with graphic design software like myself). Their built-in help system is a joke (non-existent by & large), buy thats what YouTube is for these days!. Anyway, check out my video of this and enjoy (details below)! See a video I put together using MAGIX Music Maker 2015 Premium (for the Organ Music), Anime Studio Dubut 9 (for the character animation), Rhino 3D version 3 (for the restaurant rendering) and Audacity (for the voice of Zordar and background noises). Copy the Youtube video link into your browser and enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DcO0vaW5CA The title of the video is: Court Blazers - Zordar of the Legal Empire which is a spoof of Star Blazers from series 2. If you just take the title and Google it that will get you to the video also.

> 24 hourI was waiting a very long time to buy this, for I had never had an animating program. Once I got it though, it told me that I had to pay $40 if I wanted to go more than 2 minutes. And it was very confusing to use if you wanted to draw your own figure, unless it was a shape. And to learn how you had to read this large instruction manual. I am sad to say that this is two stars, but I was just expecting better from it.

> 24 hourAnime Studio Debut 9 has an easy to use interface that allows full creativity from within and importing from beyond. After just a few moments of use you will notice that you have a full view of all tools and a large canvas from which to draw and or assemble the animation. This suite has one of the most intuitive and easy to use boning features ever devised; no wielding required; just place and add additional as needed. The Automatic Lip Syncing feature (which syncs mouth animation to audio files) is unsettlingly easy to use. This is strictly an animation program. If you are looking for an app builder or action scripting game builder, this is not it, although I have been told its possible to build sprites with anime studio. This has to be the greatest animation program I have ever used.
