ANYCUBIC 3D Printer Resin, 405nm SLA UV-Curing Resin with High Precision and Quick Curing & Excellent Fluidity for LCD 3D Printing (Grey, 1kg)

I’ve tried a few different resins and so far this is the best, high quality and doesn’t smell too strong. A nice balance.

I have been printing with this resin for about 9 months and I have had very few fails printing with Anycubic Resins. Most of the time that it has failed was due to letting the resin sir in the vat for a few days. So to keep the resin working as intended was to place the unused resin back in its container when not in use. Other than User problems this resin is good.

I have used a few different resin brands and always find myself reaching for the Anycubic brands. It is a well-trusted brand and provides some quality prints. Just be sure to dial in your print settings as well as your post-processing and youll be happy.

The first resin I bought to try my new Anycubic Photon Mono x. Prints very well, but smells horrible. Definitely recommend to use in a ventilated area. Or to use Anycubic’s water based resin.

Good basic resin. I use it all the time in my Anycubic Photon Zero. Makes good quality prints. Good price for what you get. Will buy again.

So im newer to 3D resin printing and i have only been using this so far, and its pretty great. No issues with the resin, just wanted to let people know that if you leave it in direct sunlight while in your resin tank it will instantly start cooking layers. So just be careful with it around sunlight. Great resin and my prints come out pretty awesome. Carefully read the specs on it for your prints, and that will help you not waste time!

First resin I tried that wasnt produced from the company that made my machine. Im not sure if my critique is base from inexperience or happenstance, but this resin seems to be better than what I was using. The detail seems good, it seems to leave no extra resin boogers in the vat and it left very little resin excess in the tub that I use to alcohol clean the model. The only downside is the fumes. The previous resin fumes were contained in the machine by the cover alone, this stuff seems to blast past that and permeate through doors....

I have used the entire bottle of resin at the time of writing this review, and a few models I have printed are shown. Overall, I would give this resin a 4.75/5, as the only print failures I experienced were due to underexposure on thin supports on my end. In regards to the odor others have noted, it appears to me that the Grey colored resin has next to no noticeable odor, and cleans up nicely. My only downsides of note would be that this resin really likes to stick on, so using a soft toothbrush is a major necessity. That said, so long as you properly wash your prints and then let them air dry before curing, youll be happy printing. I have had no prints detach from the build plate during any of my prints, including my larger dragons,

Ive had some time to use this and other resins on 28mm miniatures and the like and have come to some conclusions that I want to share. Starting with price, by far best price for results I have found period. As far as resin adhering to the base plate, if your base plate is level and your settings are correct, this Resin is a winner. Detail comes out crisp and strong. Ive put my painted homemade prints next to my painted overpriced British minis and its very hard to tell the difference. The odor exists, but thats about the worst I can say. Compared to some of the others, that is a glowing recommendation. Now for the negatives. There is only one. This resin is very brittle. It is too brittle. Dont think about drilling and pinning or dropping, its a death sentence. I hope to experiment with resin mixes if I ever get my Photon back running (down 3 months). If I find a real, actual fix to the brittle issue I will share it. This is too good a product to write it off for one flaw.
